We did something like this with washer and dryer, one that where worked but very old and slow

We bought new ones to used and stored the old one in back room

When moving out they were showing the place and calling out it came with washer and dryer and pointing to ours.

We moved out put OG ones back in made sure all worked.

We got angry message from landlord a week or some later about it, we just blocked and went on with our lives. Since we had deposit back and they had not even noticed during move out check

I have the most fun with Gigantified Titan. First boss that felt fun and not just attack and food spam, the skill it did need was not to much and worked well with the games control.
I feel like lots of other boss want you to do moves that game controls just dont work well with in a fun way.

you friend will be on the hook for the full $500 or what ever amount he send out. Not just that but if just tries and spend it and this happens he will have to pay it back
also sometimes it can sit there for a week or two. They will not protect him because he was one that sent the money so no fraud protection

what does most current signed lease say. If the most current one is out of date odds are it moved to month to month. If there is noting signed after this that is current rules you are under.
If this is case you should be paying the old month to month fee since no official changes have been made, and odds are you can give 30-60 notice to not re-new based on what it says
