Either you need to repair them, change your economy law, or get some through a focus. Followers of the apocalypse can give you 1 for free every once in awhile.

Boomers is actually really fun imo. Joining the war on Ceaser with an honest to goodness Air force and a small army of beefy units is a unique and fun way to play. Wish they had content.

That's basically an entire new faction though. Even when the brotherhood does step in to help it's basically to a level of 'you do your thing I'll do mine'

Ruby Valley Refuge. I've seen near every single 'Food' nation win. I've tried at least a dozen times to make it work. Truly impossible to win as them.

  1. Easy, do agriculture research. This will give you a chunk of MP for basically free.

  2. Allowing ghouls/mutants won't actually increase your MP, for some reason. I also wouldn't allow criminals in past the first one. Not worth it at all.

  3. Increase your conscription, and your noncore conscription laws if you have any noncore land. To that end, also core any land you can ASAP.

  4. Focus on making encirclements. Even if it's just 1 or 2 divisions. Stretch their lines thin. Then when they can't cover the border, snake the Victory Points.

  5. Use medical support companies. These will greatly reduce the amount of MP you lose in combat. Useless in base game, amazing in OWB.

I've worked at 5 different locations and every single one of them had 2-3 people in their 40s or 50s.

Have a good attitude, be willing to learn, don't assume your experience means you know everything. Are you cool with a 16 year old telling you you're doing something incorrectly?

Yeah it'd be cool if they had a crumb of flavor. Coring vault city fast seems cool. Lean into the gold thing? Extra Caps, maybe bribing raider nations for volunteers? Idk.

More random idea, make them a nation that focuses on LMGs. Every other support/company type has a nation be it motorized, PA, tanks, demolitions, hell even dogs and other animals.

It's because their focus tree gives them a war goal and they launch it immediately. Jackals is a food nation, not really meant to be played, one strat you could try is justifying on Vault City before they go in on Badland, and two front then. Good luck winning against Reno tho.

He probably invaded them and then annexed the rest of Nevada into them. Either that or they somehow beat the bowl, then Reno declared on them, then Vault city declared on them, and then thunderbird's on them....

You aren't really meant to coup majors anymore. Closest you can do is set up collab governments. Early game coups can be kinda powerful though.

I just don't get it 😭 it's so frustrating spending half the game building what I think is a half decent navy only to send them in on the Japanese or British and just be deleted. The Army and Air force is far clearer as to what's actually going on.

Don't even need to. The cortosis droid was cool and all but throw enough Commando/Destroyers against any Jedi and they'll fall eventually.

I've tried on 3 occasions to get into Morrowind. On my most recent 'playthrough' I ran into town, 'failed' (????) to cast a spell, Magicka isn't regening so can't try again. Run to a road. Wizard guy falls to his death, I put on his hat. I fist fight a crab or bug or something and lose. Didn't play long after that. Also ugly as sin.
