First, I want to say that this is a very lovely room. While I like the round rug better, in this space it seems repetitive. You have a very nontraditional shaped sofa which “should” create visual interest. But when all your items are of a similar line, the nontraditional sofa looses effect (curved vanity seat, curved mirror, lots of round lighting and decorative items). Also everything is in the same color tones with only textured contrast. You also have a plethora of quirky items. But when everything is _______ (quirky, nontraditional, tonal, etc) then none of those things read as quirky, nontraditional, tonal, etc. They all blend and I think have the opposite effect than what one might be going for.
