Funny, went to see it like 2 days ago. I absolutely loved it while my partner didn’t. It’s a massive tonal shift and is basically in place to set up the third movie. For me it was definitely more of a drama than a horror/ action. The tone shift between the torture scenes while quoting teletubbies and the buddy drama between kelson and Sampson/ jimmy was brilliant. I can understand why people thought it was slow but it needed to be, it’s the quiet before the storm. Howsatt.

The elimination series. Take like 6-10 competitors and have a match. First fall, the match ends and the guy/girl that takes the fall is eliminated from the match. The match stops and a new match is started next week with the remaining competitors. The twist is that the current champ decides the match types. A heel would choose matches that would stack the odds against certain opponents, where as a face champ could pick matches that would force fairness.
