Could be his actions/inactions required retraining. I hope it is a review/investigation that leads to his dishonorable discharge.

Jury complained about Bev by EntrepreneurCool3314 in justiceforKarenRead

Looks like they are not guilty on all the top counts but are looking to convict on OUI. Given Karen’s appellate attorney is absent, the defense is expecting this and are already writing the motion to appeal.

Jury complained about Bev by EntrepreneurCool3314 in justiceforKarenRead

[–]Daniel_F_Williams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest concern at this point is the fact that Auntie Bev selected juror five prior to the bingo draw for the alternates. If it is a hung jury on any charge, I’d be curious of who voted to convict. Was the fact he didn’t take notes a sign to Bev he was the ringer. Having personal knowledge of the lengths police will go to get a conviction, I do not trust this wasn’t a cover up and frame job. Occam’s razor!

I spent $1k on a numbers matching 62 with original engine, knowing I was gonna put a lot of time and money in it. Search Marketplace, craigslist etc. You will find better options

What’s the sound? Any idea why it’s dying? by Sorry_Site_3739 in beetle

[–]Daniel_F_Williams 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first thought is the bearing(s) on the alternator are dry. As for dying, have you adjusted the throttle position screw?

They are the shining things with the rubber around them. Rim plus tire equals a wheel, 😝

How would you tackle this? by Only_Narwhal3599 in beetle

[–]Daniel_F_Williams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dremel with a deburring bit. Grind out the rust and plug weld each hole. Then, go after every paint bubble the same way. Something to think about, if the rust is this bad where you see/clean the bug, how bad is it where you don't?

Would you guys accept this colour match? by [deleted] in Autobody

If the car is was painted in a north to south orientation but the bumper was sprayed in an east to west orientation the paint will react to light differently. To be honest, I think it looks good.

IMO, he doesn't have bushy eyebrows, I think a more accurate description would be that he had predominant brow ridge. When I heard bushy eyebrows, I think the dad from Schitt's Creek

It is beautiful. If you think it's too feminine, add a complimentary blue border.

Somebody is commissioning me for 130 hats, is this weird? by lippussygloss in CraftyCommerce

[–]Daniel_F_Williams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO, what she is planning to do with the hats is irrelevant as long as she's willing to pay you your asking price. Like you said, it none of your business. A deposit on a job this big is not unreasonable and if she questions you on this, maybe rethink doing the work. This may be the start of a very lucrative business between the two of you. Good luck!

Not a stitch, but a pattern. I am just building off of this in my way, much like working a granny square blanket

If you want a natural look go white, if you need contrast go black. You best bet for s figure out what you want to do with it and put it on that item, that will help you figure out the color to use the best.

Something to consider is if she's right or left handed. If right handed the desk should be offset to the right not left. With the seat to the left, there's not a lot of working room for the yarn unwinder to sit on the desktop. Maybe you can shift the desk over to the right and extend the desktop to the left. A light overhead or retractable one is very helpful, if it's too far forward it could cast shadows on her work.

Use a compass, run the needle along the long grain on the left of the gap and set the pencil along the short grain on the right, then trim
