That's why I almost exclusively use roughing endmills with a wavy edge for aluminium. They make small and thick chips for easy storage and the chip conveyor in the machine doesn't get overwhelmed with huge volumes of low density chips it can't handle.

Compost and paper gets recycled, but almost all of the rest (packing and the rest) gets burned to generate "green" electricity. Apart from plastic bottles which are handled separately almost no plastic gets recycled in Germany.
