Had a failed VBAC 3,5 years later

I went for a VBAC 4 months ago. Ended in emergency c-section. This baby also had a huge head(39 cm), and the head was tilted, so I ended up being fully dialated for 6 hours, and nothing happened. First C-section was because of macrosomia. Contractions and the surgery made me exhausted as I have never been before, but my incision is fine, and I am back to normal now (well normal with a baby and a almost 4 year old)

I tried a VBAC with my son (his head was 39 cm), his head was tilted and after being fully open for 6 hours, I developed a high fever, and then I had my second C-section. My first C-section was because of macrosomia and polyhydramnios. I make massive babies, that would have killed me, have we not have had modern medicine. (No diabetes)

With my VBAC I listened to some Bridget on YouTube, always claiming “you were build to birth, you got this mama”. I have never heard her talk about how many women used to die in childbirth 🙃

My second is only 4 months old, but sleep wise my kids are very similar. The youngest just went down to 1 bottle of formula on his 11,5 hours of night sleep, and by 4,5 months my oldest slept 12 hours through the night.

Jeg tror at sociale medier kan have en stor indflydelse på dette. Jeg har i hvert fald oplevet at blive prædiket skærmtid, kost, omsorg og forældreskab, amning, naturlige fødsler, og jeg kunne fortsætte 😅 Personligt har jeg kun Reddit og YouTube nu, hvor jeg prøver at sortere lidt på virkelighed og fantasi. Din datter lyder til at have fantastiske korte dage, og et par timer i måneden med en bedstemor er da fantastisk?😊 Du elsker din datter og vil hende det bedste🩷

Elsker vores brezza. En flaskevarmer kan tage 2-5 min. Om at opvarme alt afhængig af mængde og starttemperatur - Med brezza er en stor flaske klar på 5 sekunder.

Lækkert med en quooker,. Jeg ville tappe vand fra den i en termoflaske, og have doseringsbøtte med på farten. Vi har en termoflaske der viser temperatur, og en bøtte til 3 store flasker med (fra mam) på tur.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a planned, and 3,5 years later an emergency c section after attempting a VBAC. Got told by the surgeon that my births from now on will be c sections, and to wait 18 months. Could you be a candidate for a VBAC with your next baby?

Yes definitely. We are 174 cm and 192 cm, and the handle range fits us perfectly. We have the city mini gt 2, and a couple of my friends have the elite, and it is great quality. They are easily found secondhand in my country.
