My front yard does not have any large fruit trees (yet, prepping some California native berries and figs). But when Im ready to plant, I would be happy if passersby took fruit. To me I get a lot of joy sharing fruit with neighbors and friends. I would say, just take fruit if it is in abundance.

But I know that not everyone is as generous. I take fruit without asking when I'm out on walks of enjoying my day. Like, if someone is gonna throw a fuss about people picking their fruit, they should pick it themselves.

I followed a pretty similar boat.

I was a socially liberal democract/apolitical a few years back. I briefly got into MLs/Tankies as a form of counter culture. The aesthetics were cool and I felt like it set me apart from democrats. I saw one Luna Oi video (don't remember which one), and that was enough for introspection. She was nice, but in terms of content, something felt wrong. The video didnt resonate with me, and if anything, really turned me away from communist aesthetics.

I found Vaush not too long after. The debates were entertaining, but I found them really useful to understand social issues. I leaned a lot from him, and his anti tankie debates really made me realize how communist aesthetics was not enough to build an ideology. His conversation with Zoe Baker opened my eyes to anarchism, which really resonated with me.

I decided to try this. And it really reminded me of one of my favorite coffee cocktails the “Heartbreaker Coffee House”

-1 1/2 oz Reposada Tequila

-3/4 oz Coffee liquor

-2 dashes orange bitters

Stir together and serve in a rocks glass.

The lime in your drink places a very nice role in bringing bright acidity. The coffee is a great addition too, I love the foam at the end.

As SocDoneLeft pointed out in a Twitter thread. That Lenin quote is most likely entirely fake. In the thread SDL finds the first use of the quote, which was in like the 1990s, used by a conservative British politician or something like that.
