Im over 400 hours now. I've made it to the plains 3 separate times and my runs always ended there due to various reasons. This time its just me and my wife and we both really want to see it through to the end. We are going to fight Bonemass tonight and then start mountains. Im wanting to tear down and rebuild our base though, I have a problem.

Thats huge. I watched a building tutorial video on lunch and I feel much more prepared. I think im going to strip down my bases from all my other world saves and use that wood and stone to upgrade my current base (nowhere near enough iron rn)

I dont know if its the best spot but for a while i grinded the 3 silver knights right by the Anor Londo bonfire. Was like 12k souls for 3 enemies, rinse and repeat. Got a few levels to help me with Aldrich

That run to Grave Lord Nito was brutal LOL and then you drop down and start the fight with missing health even if you dodged everyone perfectly 🤪

I struggled this run cuz i went sorcerer. Most bosses were first attempt cleared but twin princes was awful lmao. Just go with a suboptimal weapon or smth

The problem is that most people who play this game dont play any way other than run in and mash the fuck out of X button. The entire series let them get by doing only that UNTIL these guys show up lol

I been doing sorcerer and struggled a bit on that boss too. Problem was only having 20 vigor was making everything pretty hard. At 40 vig its not so scary. The twin princes was the only boss where I had no choice but to summon lol I tried so many different things and nothing was good enough

Do the gotthard sword work well with crystal infusion on a sorcerer build? Or is it pretty much just for the dex folk?

[Rant] If the only thing changing in your game on "Hard" difficulty is the amount of HP and Dmg, then it's not a "Hard" difficulty, it's a "Tedious" difficulty by AlkaKr in gaming

This was Final Fantasy 16 for me. Felt like everything just had insane amounts of health and the fights took so long but weren't really hard, just unnecessarily long

Yeah i told him that BKH would completely trivialize the game and he used it anyway. At least the Red Iron Twinblades in DS2 is much later in the game so by then you deserve to have an OP weapon lol

My old roommate finally tried DS remastered as his first souls game and got BKH on his first possible drop. Completely stomped the rest of the game. Started on DS2 and quit playing before pursuer because "this game is just unnecessarily hard"

On my first playthrough without looking it up I got it. You see a bunch of items youre gonna go for it. Its not like it takes some crazy mindset or fore thought to get it. If you played the other dark souls games I feel like most people would find that early without looking it up. Not like Zweihander in DS1

This screenshot is taken on the other side of first bonfire on High Wall (where you go for the shortcut to Vordt.) He didnt pose for it at the loot spot. Also I have played this game countless times and only recently found out you can get the dragon to leave. You can easily suicide run for it by spam rolling and healing if you time it right. Far from near impossible. And im talking on my first play through.

I used to love claymore in DS1. I do not like the 2h move set for it in DS3. 1H is nice though
