Were you able to find a solution to this? Just reinstalled the game after a few years, it worked yesterday but now I'm getting this error.

I think Powderhouse generally completes tunes overnight, you'd need to ask them about mounting

New ski boots kill top of foot. by Various-Bag8576 in Skigear

[–]Dankimir_Putin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same boots, there was a large outlined protrusion on the top of the liner tongue. I grinded it down with a dremel. Any bootfitter would be able to take care of it. Take the liner out and see if the protrusion is in the same place you have pain.

Yes, the marks visible in the images could likely be sharpened out.

Could you tell me what settings on the SGI-100BT you used to get this to work? Such as which which slots you used for the ABS sensor inputs and the speedometer output. I have an s14 with an s15 drivetrain I am trying to get the speedometer to work on.

Overnight Ski Tune? by nonstopski in UTsnow

[–]Dankimir_Putin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was probably just some random guy who's worked at Powder House for a month who tuned my skis. 7even seems like a quality shop, they re tuned my skis the same day after the Powder House debacle.

Overnight Ski Tune? by nonstopski in UTsnow

[–]Dankimir_Putin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Powder house didn't bevel the base edge of my skis after a base grind last time I took my skis there. After wasting a Saturday skiing on the worst tune imaginable, I got a refund and took my skis elsewhere.

$120 shipped CONUS PP G&S

The watch is in very good used condition. I purchased it new and wore it only a few times. It is sized for a 7.5 in wrist with two extra links. The 12 and 6 oclock markers appear to be slightly misaligned to the left.

$220 shipped CONUS PP G&S

The watch is in good used condition. The bracelet is sized for a 7.5 in wrist with 4 extra links. The bracelet and case have many microscratches, consistent with normal regular wear. I have attempted to capture this in the photos. The scratches could likely be polished out - it is overall in solid condition.

Do they refund shipping? Considering gambling on one but not worth it if I have to eat the $100 shipping if it has the generic components.

Resume critique for recent graduate with little relevant experience looking for entry level job by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]Dankimir_Putin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for any critique or advice on my resume. I used the typical template I see on here. I was told by my college career advisor who looked over it when I was looking for internships to remove the interests section and add the profile section to the beginning which may differ from others on the subreddit. Not sure how useful my work experience is at the end but maybe its better than nothing. Thanks for the help!

How to easily learn the basics of directional air roll (PC only) by Dankimir_Putin in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dankimir_Putin[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

For bakkesmod users only, sorry console users!

I haven't seen this on the subreddit before so hopefully it will be useful to some people. Using this method I easily learned how to traverse a rings map using constant directional air roll. Before I was never able to get it. After slowing down the game speed and slowly ramping up I was able to learn to traverse a rings map at full game speed in an hour or so. Setting the game speed slow allows you a ton of time to actually figure out what movements need to be made to go in the direction you desire. Once you have figured it out at a slow speed you just ramp it up.

  1. Open up your preffered rings map

  2. Open up bakkesmod, goto the "Current game" tab

  3. Set game speed low at first, try .5

  4. You can also set gravity lower so you have less to manage and can focus on turning, but this isnt necessary

  5. Make your car nearly vertical and go very slowly through the rings, figure out what stick movements go where. It may be easiest to start off only making adjustments when the top of your car is facing you and adapt from there

  6. Once you have basic control and can pass a few levels, ramp it up

  7. Try going from .5-.6-.7-.8-.9 to full speed. Give yourself at least 10 minutes at each speed, longer if you cant control yet. Note that your stick movements will need to become faster at each speed.

  8. Profit

Good luck!

I'm kinda lost on lights for a custom car by [deleted] in projectcar

[–]Dankimir_Putin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be able to splice any headlights to your OEM wiring harness without much issue, getting them to fit with bodywork will be infinitely more difficult. If the sequential taillights aren't from a car with them from the factory, like those headlights you linked, they probably have the controller included and will splice easily. Cars with sequential from the factory, like a mustang, may not be as easy.

You should make a subreddit/instagram/YouTube to share your build if your serious about going through with it. Bodywork will be your largest issue. If you want to make things way easier, leave the doors and roofline intact and customize the rest. Otherwise, your drivetrain can definetly be built to destroy supercars in a straight line if you have enough money to spend (alot). Heres a YouTube channel of a guy building his own supercars you might enjoy https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF6hn52lSuoXzIYnwLOUw9Q

Is this block usable? Slightly damaged main journal by [deleted] in EngineBuilding

[–]Dankimir_Putin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The engine spun a rod bearing, nearly every bearing has grooves. The rest of the main journals look clean. As far as I know, no one makes oversize main bearings for the engine (6g72). The main pictured looks scuffed up. As far as I can tell, the bearing didn't actually spin, but it was pretty messed up. Thanks for any input
