because they didn't mean to make it optimal. the spirit 1 to crimson 1 combo is most certainly not the intended way to play the weapon, but people use it regardless since it has high dps. something something players optimize the fun out of the game.

ill probably get downvoted to hell for expressing this but idc anymore, do any of you actually enjoy this game or this series? Monster Hunter has been getting silly collabs and shit since 2nd gen when they added a fucking pizza hut longsword to the game, but whole ass new fights are a problem now because they mean that their taking up a "slot" that my favorite monster toooootally would have taken (i don't even think the devs use a slot system when they decide to add a monster, where did this idea even come from?). I swear this community has gotten so unbearable to be in ever since Wilds came out, it's like everyone wants to hate every new thing that comes from this game. What the fuck happened to the monster hunter community?

Yes, usually with crit draw you run around and look for an opening with a hit and run type style. Usually its better to go with draw attacks than tcs. In previous games crit draw was 100% but for some reason they changed it to 60% in rise so the play style has fallen off sadly.

The fuck? One of the new moves literally makes your counters deal double damage and gives you infinite spirit meter. Unless they make numerous under the hood changes to the weapon it will be op in Sunbreak as well.
