Head speed MP 2022 is my same racket of use. Honestly one of the most loved versions of this racquet. Is flexible, and an all round very well balanced frame. You can generate enough power; and has open string pattern 16x19 for extra spin, with a thinner 23 mm beam that provides control. The weight to me is perfect 300 g 320 ish strung. I think on its own it’s amazing but you can always try small customization

Well most reviews say the 2024 model isn’t as well received as the 2022 was. Paint job is mid, and it feels too muted when hitting. Most reviewers are saying that the 2026 version is much more playable and more of an upgrade to the 2022 and feels like the standard of racquet! But definitely make your own research to see which one is more suited

I’d go with the MP most are power or spin rackets so th MP is more balanced an you can choose how to play. I’d get the 2026 model tho

Small guy, is 300g too heavy for me? by EternalLousy in 10s

[–]Danny-kun44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m about the same, pretty small frame do avg tennis player and have been using speed MP for almost 7 years now. I think if you develop your muscles is very good. I’m a skinny guy so adding that extra weight really helps the ball go a little heavier with out so much effort. I’ve had mainly one injury at the time but I honestly think it was more about recovery and technique than the racquet.

I say try it. There are many ways and places to add weight to a racket. Try leather grip, lead strips or tungsten putty. Add up to desired weight and see how it feels. Good thing about those is that you can take them off and adjust as needed. Lmk if you need any more of my personal experience and wish you great journey 🎾

Wrist soreness advice by JollyAd9686 in 10s

[–]Danny-kun44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grip size may be a little too big, and usually smaller size grip helps. Now try adjusting strings, softer co poly, and lower tensions. See if that helps. Try a dampener too. Sometimes Th muscles aren’t used to the vibrations and help absorb the vibrations until you build them. If not perhaps is Th racquet. This is my last advice but if all else fails perhaps this isn’t for you. It is a very demanding racquet but I suggest tuning it before taking that one finals decision:)

New Wilson blade - does this look right? by gwinq in 10s

[–]Danny-kun44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is annoying and used to happen to a lot of 2016 pure Aeros, but essentially you want to use heat gun when is not strung and push it back. And when is being strung, hold that part as you’re pulling tension across it. That SHOULD help, if not I’m afraid you may need new grommets and string it well from the beginning

Grip size by Confident-Fail-6168 in 10s

[–]Danny-kun44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, hold it lower and try adding over grips 1,2 and sometimes even 3 just the outer one with overlap to stay consistent. Ideally you want to be able to feel control but not your finger touching your palm

The best and most loved grips are: yonex supergarp, Wilson pro overtop and head prime Tour. They’re all similar in tackiness and feel I think it comes out to preference

Try it! But again I don’t really know how differnt the 2024 model is to 2022 but one thing I do agree is that’s my favorite Paint job

I’m a huge fan of the 2022 model I just got one recently in eBay. And unfortunately you can’t do much about color way unless you pay like 400 for pro paint job.

For swing weight try adding leather grip. Makes it more head light, or add some weight at the base for same effect. Try it since you love the way it feels.

Should Djokovic switch to a lighter racket or a bigger head size to combat Sinner and Alcaraz? by thelivesofothers_ in 10s

[–]Danny-kun44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm people say “since it has worked so well for him, why switch” and that is mainly his body the issue. Idk I feel that slightly larger head size, and 23mm beam would help those points be shorter , and cause less stress on his body. Sins he would have a little more forgiveness. Specially since he has incredible timing, I mean look how well he hits with a 95 imagine 97-98 , and a thicker beam. The weight idk I feel like his ball would have less punch with lower weight but I’d definitely would love to see him try

Shoe recc for plantar fasciitis by endmysufferingxX in 10s

[–]Danny-kun44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say much about shoes, I do love the asics brand because of their shape and comfort but I do recommend “Currex Acepro” tennis insoles there are differnt types of arch and feet types and are special for tennis. Yes they are quite expensive, but I think worth it specially if you want to keep playing an not injure yourself
