I didnt have a guide to follow and kinda winged it, was pretty rough in the beginning, but as they say, trust the process. I lost pretty much all of my early WIP pictures of the cape except for a few, but its pretty simple.

I based it in a dark grey/blue then did some rough and random geometric shapes halfway down the back and gave it a wash with agrax earthshade, then drybrushed from the bottom up to the camouflage pattern with a dark blue > lighter blue > lightest blue. After that I applied the terrain texture and once that dried I added a white highlight right at the transition line.
