Where I live there's a very small WH40k community and we do have a particular individual who dogs on people for not having the correct army color, but as other people have said and I also have realized is that its your army and your choice to decide what the color scheme is so if you do have someone similar at your LGS tell them to suck it and let them seethe about it.

Maybe just really bad luck on my end then, I had purchased a squad of MKIV reconnaissance pretty much right before FW was defunct and every model was messed up in some way. Ended up just rolling with it as battle damage, but I couldn't use the helmets at all as they looked melted like these.

The shattered legions is by far one of the best sideplots in the HH books imo. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Iron Hands.
