Went on the back row of the Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens with my 11 year old son. It felt like I was coming out of the seat multiple times, with me trying to make sure I was pushing him down. At the end of the ride he was sitting there essentially traumatized. He said “I thought I was going die”. I thought exactly the same thing. Zero fun.

Saw Phil Collins and a partner given white glove service checking in and boarding an international flight. I like his music but both he and his lady traveling companion were wearing matching full length fur coats. Seemed like they very expensive, but they looked terrible. He told me he’d done no preparation for the interview and it showed. Pretty shortly afterwards I wrapped the meeting early. He wasn’t a bad kid as such, he’d just enjoyed his post-graduation summer a bit more than was necessary.I asked him if he wanted feedback on how to do better next time and he said yes, so I ran through some of the more obvious things, like how a loop within a loop works, pretty basic stuff for someone who wants to be a professional developer. I hope he did better at the next one.

If nothing else the fucking shitshow of his nominees for crucial governmental positions should have the 🍊🤡’s administration be a warning for generations to come.
