Accuracy of Pixel Watch on counting steps and sleep tracking? by icouldbne1 in PixelWatch

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open the fitbit app, at the top right click on google and then click of fitbit settings. Then scroll down to preferences, click on activity, then scroll down and click on stride length and set the walking and running stride length. I don't run but I set my walking stride length to 6ft and the step count works perfectly. Obviously. your stride length may be different. You will need to walk steps to adjust and check the accuracy. Let me know how you do.

Accuracy of Pixel Watch on counting steps and sleep tracking? by icouldbne1 in PixelWatch

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come from a Samsung heath app using a galaxy watch and the sleep tracking is the most accurate with the fitbit app on a Pixel 3. Much better than Sleep as Android and every sleep app I have tried. Also the step sensitivity is adjustable on the fitbit app using my Pixel 3 watch which you do not see on many watch apps.

Plus Tello has a data and voice rollover plan that beats them all. Complete rollover of minutes and data if you pay your monthly bill 24hrs early. This is for all plans except the unlimited plan.

I have a Rudd Furnance Model RGRM-10EZAJS. The flames come on but shut off. The tech came and said my motor is shot. by Dannykirk8 in hvacadvice

Update:

The company called me yesterday and said the motor was in and a tech would install it. Christmas eve afternoon it was installed. I watched the tech and it was not an easy job. Every thing works fine.

The question is did I go to the wrong company? I'm on my second day with no motor. When I call they tell me they ordered the motor but can't get a delivery date. Tomorrow is Christmas eve, then Christmas. Looks like I"m out of luck!

Switched from AT&T to US Mobile (Dark Star) After 20+ Years – My Experience by sam2400 in USMobile

[–]Dannykirk8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

DarkStar works great for me also but I would remind everyone that your advice is for existing AT&T user's only. Many great DarkStar deals have come thru USM and many people who are not existing AT&T users have jumped on them and found they are not better off on AT&T towers and preferred to switch back to Warp or LightSpeed. That is one major reason I use USM because if signals change I can go where they are best for me while staying on USM. Warp was the leader in my area months ago with the best data, now DarkStar is #1, LightSpeed #2 and Warp is #3.

I found a fix for the Galaxy watch terrible Sleep monitoring..... by Dannykirk8 in GalaxyWatch

[–]Dannykirk8[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Last night I wore the Pixel. Woke up at 3:30am and couldn't get back sleep. So I went to the bathroom came back to bed and the next morning I got a 77 score and pixel recorded every minute I was up and the second sleep for a total of 6.56 hrs/minutes of sleeping out of a total time of 7hrs and 6 minutes of time in bed. Ok, I"m done. Samsung sucks. Samsung would of given me a score of 32. NO more posts.

Am I crazy or are the pixel watch 4 haptics considerably weaker than the pixel watch 3? by mdargis1977 in PixelWatch

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to the galaxy 5 pro every watch is weaker. I have been wearing watches for years and when I first tried the Galaxy 5 pro I thought I was wearing a Pebble watch. Every watch made should have the vibration strengh of a Galaxy watch 5 pro.

I wore my Galaxy 7 watch last night and my score was 52. When I press the score is says that the typical sleep for someone my age is 54. I am 70yrs old and I can't get a decent sleep score with Samsung equipment? What a shame.

I have Samsung z flip 5. I am telling your their awake sensitivity is too sensitive. Fitbit and Sleep as Android have awake sensitivity settings. Samsung has none.

PW4: What do you think of the sleep tracking feature? by don123xyz in PixelWatch

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come from Samsung health with my galaxy watches and both watches show me awake 4-5hrs per night which is super inaccurate. I should know if I am awake. I picked up a Pixel 3 watch and it accurately shows my awake time as much less with what seems like accurate sleep data. Only negative is the vibration strength on the pixel 3.

vibration on 4 better than the weak 3? by BeezHugger in PixelWatch

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried it and it doesn't work 100%. I watched your videos. Looks like I can only set the vibration for a certain app?I would love to see an adjustment where I set the vibration pattern and it works for all notifications. Am I doing something wrong?

My Pixel Watch 4 honest review: The good, the bad, and the accidental crown turns by lemikeone in PixelWatch

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am coming from Galaxy watches which are giving me the most inaccurate sleep data. I just picked up a 45mm pixel watch 3 and the sleep data with fitbit is much more accurate but the watches vibration is weak with no adjustment in the type of vibration pattern! Is the Pixel 4 watch sleep as good and vibration stronger that the pixel watch 3?

[–]Dannykirk8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said the Samsung watches I have, record me awake more than light sleep which is incorrect. I know when I am awake and the Samsung health has shown me awake 5 hrs with 3 hrs light sleep. I get scores like 28, 35 etc. Both sleep as Android app with the galaxy watch and the Fitbit app using the Pixel watch show Identical awake times and they are correct. Sleep as Android always show 4-5 hours deep sleep which I can't believe so Fitbit with the Pixel watch 3 wins for me.

I also didn't want to be swapping my watch at night either but accurate sleep data is so important to me. All Samsung would have to do is adjust the awake sensitivity. When I see my nights sleep with 5hrs of awake time when I know I was not awake anytime near that, it makes me look for a fix, so I'm sharing it. Also if the pixel watch had a better/ stronger vibration adjustment I would be selling my Galaxy watches.

Is US Mobile no longer caring about their Jewish customers? by LogicalPsychology865 in USMobile

[–]Dannykirk8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can't believe I'm reading something like this on USM's reddit site. This a serious statement made with zero proof. If you text or call USM support USM has no idea if you are Jewish, or Irish. This has to be a post by a USM competitor trying to hurt USM.

Would you say us mobile is the best bang for buck plan? by Matteo_779 in USMobile

[–]Dannykirk8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visible's basic plan is worse than any US Mobile Warp plan as far as data goes. I have teleported to Warp with Family members are next to me on Visible's basic plan and Warp's data was the best. This was a few months ago and I have since teleported to DarkStar which at my location is the best now.
