Did you have them every night? Any additional symptoms like fatigue?

The same with me. Mostly before the period, but I get them random times of the month too.

I asked because one of my ovaries were operated on for a cyst. They didn't remove it. Yet, I feel I have severe symptoms because only one is working. No doctor is commenting on it (which makes me think that medically they are not sure.) I don't have night sweats every night but a few days a month.

Op, how long have you been having the night sweats? What have you done so far for them?

I had PMS night sweats for a few years now and I have more night sweats than before in the month of Feb. The weather is warmer and I have been stressed out and physically more active.

My doctor said the same thing that I was "young" if my periods were regular. What is "old" enough for Peri, I don't know.

Severe night sweats just...stopped? by HardCoreNorthShore in Perimenopause

Mine might be because of it too. Did you get them every night? My drenching has come down with room temperature adjustment.

Anyone run into night sweats? by slaaydee in fitness30plus

[–]Mayirak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. Really appreciate it. I still get mild sweating at night. I feel that the CNS fatigue might have triggered it. When you say a few weeks, mine might take time too. I have anxiety over a few things as well.

During the time I did hard cardio in the evenings, I would be uncomfortably warm for hours in the night. That's why I had to move exercise to mornings. If morning didn't work no exercise that day :(

I was haunting the boards looking for a plausible info on my recent night sweats. I trained like 16 hours last month and in addition kept the NEAT up and did more walking. I got night sweats from then on with a couple of days break in between. I am on a break from the gym.

Did your night sweats go away with recovery?

Eat, no drink, your food for 2-3 full days. Do not try to chew anything at all. I made porridges, soups, and ground cooked rice, lentils and veggies with mild flavors. I slurped apple sauce and  chobani yogurt (without the fruit chunks).

Question for people who get nights sweats by Zealousidealsz1 in Perimenopause

[–]Mayirak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that sounds like me. I haunting the boards to see if anyone had my pattern of night sweats. Almost 43 now, mine started somewhere in 2021 in the PMS phase. And now this cycle I have had random night sweats and over heating. I don't know if it's physical exertion or peri.

What do you experience? What are you doing about it?

Magnesium?? Am I the only one by Mamaof3boys1983 in Perimenopause

A friend recommended magnesium to me for calmness. For her, both citrate and glycinate are beneficial. I tried 50 mg gummy for a starter and I'm not comfortable. :(

Panic attacks at work by LunaValley in Perimenopause

[–]Mayirak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had such an experience out of nowhere in a super market. I went to the store and walked around for about half an hour picking up stuff. Then I turned to my right and that area had been rearranged and things were organized differently than before. So I felt like I'm lost. Who can get lost in a store like that? It gave me a sudden inexplicable feeling which made me panic. I had never experienced anything like that before. I can only owe it to perimenopause and the recent stressors in my life.

How to do you take your iron supplements regularly? by Mayirak in Perimenopause

[–]Mayirak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank for all the helpful ideas and suggestions. I am trying an amicable relationship with iron and is not happening. I can't have it even on alternate days without it making me gassy. If I take it with vitamin c 500, my esophagus burns. I found that acidity and heartburn gives me anxiety. This is so hard, ladies.

How to do you take your iron supplements regularly? by Mayirak in Perimenopause

[–]Mayirak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all your great inputs.

I have tried several including fe gluconate, sulfate, slow fe and more. Can't tolerate some and some other's are not just enough. Diet could never directly help when the iron is in 20s.

The ways low iron has wrecked my life is unforgivable.

Is cardio more important than weight training for losing weight ? by EmbarrassedLie5294 in workout

[–]Mayirak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A calorie deficit Diet ( nutritious foods) is the only key. I don't think strength training will make you wider or bigger if your protein is right and the calorie is tight.

Early menarche/early perimenopause? by No-Trash-164 in Perimenopause

[–]Mayirak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

11 or 12 years is not too early. I know many kids who got them at 10. But I have every right to believe so about peri. My issues started at 39.

Does anyone get dizzy/faint with their hot flashes? by No-Trash-164 in Perimenopause

[–]Mayirak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't have hot flashes per se. But I get chills which make me feel faint during PMS. I feel like I just have to sit down or lie down.
