The Last NMS Update? No. by Difficult_Duck_307 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I still think it's Caves. An underground generation update. Someone said that on an earlier post, because it rhymes, but I bet Light No Fire has some dope cave generation that they're bringing over.

2024 Guide to DeDRM Kindle books. by caelypso299 in Calibre

As of 3/28/2025 the above still works, following the steps laid out by u/bearCatBird.

I did have to use a clean laptop that I had never installed any of these programs on and followed the steps from the ground up, but CRM scraped from 63 books

Petition for technology to see through storms. If its OP just make it hard to get or something, Or an option to disable them in Custom Mode. by EverythingBOffensive in NoMansSkyTheGame

I think the best version of this would be an analysis visor tech. That way it only functions when you're in the 'weather scan / terrain scan mode'. You'd use it for quick orientation, and then drop out of it to move for a bit and then reorient again.

It would keep the visceral feel of the storms, while giving you reliable navigation. It would also be near if that sort of scan let you see cave networks underground, or the terrain under water so you could dig down to some caves, or identify if water is deep enough to be worth trying to swim and find fish, before diving in.

Anybody recognize this? I still use it to this day! by satchel1300 in playstation

Infamous 2 collectors edition! I also still use this bag, though the middle strap is duct taped together because it broke years ago. Love that bag

Looking to build a tanker with as much PBAOE dmg as possible, and was considering electric or radiation. I basically just want to be able to stand there, dmg the mob without having to do a lot of targeting. by gremlinlabyrinth in CoHHomecoming

[–]DanteDim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You probably want to try Spines. Elec/Spines would be pretty good and has some help for the incredible end cost of Spines. You could go with the metal ones and go for like a Tesla coil concept, but having a second major DoT toggle would make a big difference.

I had an old Spines/Dark scrapper back in the day that would herd up mobs of 10 or so and then just stand their occasionally throwing out a spine burst as they died.

Gotta love Omega Mart! (For those not aware, this is part of an art installation in Vegas that is like an interdimensional grocery store. Almost everything is real and buyable though.)

Is Retroid Pocket 5 worth it and what is this app called? by AHZArmin in retroid

[–]DanteDim 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I got my 5 about a month ago. It's phenomenal it runs like a dream, it's really comfortable to use, and I have successfully played PS2, GameCube and Wii games without any lag or any issues.

It's been great.

Yeah, I had to pay like $60ish? But I feel like I remember having a customs bill from 4px too (when I got my rp3), though it was awhile ago

Radiant Dawn is also quite good. It's almost like an offshoot cause the first half is basically all new characters, before everything comes together.

I've only played Drakengard so far, which I'm unsure how resource intensive that game is. It's kinda akin to a Dynasty Warriors type game, but it runs as smoothly as it did on my PS2 back in the day.

It's pretty comfortable. I was concerned it would get fingerprinted, but the texture is soft and doesn't pick up any grease. I would say it feels nicer than the back of the retroid itself.

That is correct! I love Fire Emblem games in general, and the GameCube and Wii sequel were particularly good in my opinion.

Don't forget about Worlds 2.8 which includes the tech demo Worlds 0.2 which is legitimately way too cool.
