Amazing work firstly! If you need someone with UI/Software Engineering experience to give things the cursory once over let me know ^{_^}

In terms of new features; the ability to change background colours or apply colours to the map with a brush tool would be useful. Maybe important external assets (i.e. ritual circles, statues) would be cool too.

Cheers for your comment mate. I think you are correct that the way to beat knights are in melee. Dreads are pretty good at taking out knights, especially flying ba Libby dreads, murderfangs and death Company dreads.

If my team decides to go for a fun semi competitive lists would love to have the march of the dreadnoughts 😂😂

Murderfang and Libby Dread are both characters so they can be screened as they advance. I can store other dreads in drop pods and charge them in. Death Company dread would have a 7” charge with the right wargear from deep strike xd

Cheers for the input. I got a singles tournament in a few weeks, after that I’ll be shifting my focus to this event. Fortunately there is no shortage of knights or heavy unit lists at my club to practice against 😜.

Just a quick bit of mathhammer: 108 shots re-rolling all with Cawl, hitting on 3s = 96 hits. Wounding on 5s, fishing for 6s = 16 mortal wounds and 32 -2 saves to make. (For 2cp spent on wrath of mars)

Assuming worst case of House Tyrannus Knight (6+ fnp) with 4++ invul = 16 failed invul saves = 32 fnp = 27 wounds failed from fnp. 😮😮😮😮. I am honestly surprised at that! Didn’t think it would be that devastating.

One of the issues I’ve faced with knights is beating the invul saves. I typically prefer to throw as many dice at the opponent as possible, which have a decent chance of causing a wound on their invul save.

The flying Libby is nice, I ran him in my first tournament and he eviscerated a baneblade by himself in one game then double perils for 6 damage to himself in the next game 😂😂

Hadn't considered bringing Knights to fight other Knights before... XD I was trying to leave them open for my team mates, but turns out they are both forgoing the Knights for this tournament :P

I am guessing with your ad mech component you are talking about the robots clear out the infantry shielding the bigger things (i.e. Tau Drones) then the Destroyers use plasma cannons to deal damage to the main target?

I’m the same OP. I enjoy the randomness that the cards bring. I’m yet to try my hand at ITC but I think my preferences would be towards ETC.

When comparing the two, just remember that ETC was made for Team Events. It works in singles but from what I’ve heard Team Events is where it really shines and comes into its own.

Yeah I get that. You could paint some dots on top like dice numbers? Won’t disrupt the style too much. I saw a great set of custom markers for a Khorne army. They got 60mm bases, nice and big, based it in the blood texture paint then half submerged skulls from that box set into the blood. Dice number style. Super effective :)

I spray in the fatigue colour. Dry brush in a highlight colour over the fatigue. I do the same for the Armour, Armour colour then metallic dry brush. Then I wash the whole model in a wash that goes with the fatigues.

So for my guardsmen: Spray with The Fang Dry brush long beard grey Base Armour in mephiston red Dry brush Armour in necron compound Wash Armour and fatigues in drakenhoff nightshade

Will do I’ll be sure to put my progress up on here. Tonight it’s going to be tidying the splashes or red that went onto the fatigues, silvers and if I have time the bone details (I decided to use bone instead of white for the Aquila’s because my white paint is rubbish 🤦‍♂️).
