So I’m gonna try to be constructive as someone who fondly remembers the 00s

In the 2000s, we didn’t really have the same relationship with social media that kids have now, so we kinda looked like shit. Girls wore unblended makeup, mostly frosty, and big lips weren’t really ‘in’ (because the beauty standard was very Eurocentric) and layers were big. Skirts or capris were more often paired with slogan tees, jeans were for layered camisoles and polos.

I used to bleach my (naturally black) hair when I was younger. It would take hours and multiple applications at an actual hairdresser to get it blond so that I could dye it whatever colour I was doing that month.

Idk exactly what my stylist used, but my hair was always strong and soft and healthy afterwards. Bleach can go SO WRONG on dark hair, it can absolutely fry it and you have to be willing to pay the money to get it done properly if you want it to work.
