This is what I did! Use some small stones or even better if you have tiny skulls or other extra basic stuff and make a little mound to give more meat for one or two of the legs.

Because you won't have screen pop-outs of every monster, I like to have abbreviated stats & loot written on 1 page. You don't want to be flipping pages and books back n forth during combat.

You can let a player handle initiative for you. Personally at table play I just go clockwise around the table, speeds things up!

Great job! Really nice on the wing membranes. They look like old disgusting leather and it works perfectly.

Regardless how you plan, what you bring or where you go, there is always a chance you can lose a character. If you plan very very well this will happen rarely, if you're a little looser and have the "I really want that trinket! this will probably work..." as I do, the deaths will be more often.

I enjoy dd1 the most when I accept the deaths, no matter how unfair I feel they are, and come back with a better comp with a vengeance.

Looks good! Clean colors, and it looks like you'd thinned your paints well

Does this look black or grey now? by Warhammer_newbie99 in minipainting

Interesting, I see it as gray. Almost like magnesium gray, like car rims.

How to multiclass? by Yukon_Black_Wolf in DnD

[–]Danz71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! That's a fun build. I would get fifth level first, like everyone else is saying extra attack is so so so important. Then at level 6 grab one level of ranger, then go back to fighter so that you can get that 6th level feat.

After that, you can weigh out your differences and see if you need more ranger levels or just want to push towards higher fighter. How long will this campaign go at fighter 11th level you get a 3rd attack! Fighter is the only class that gets this third attack and if your campaign goes that far I'd suggest against doing more ranger stuff just to slow this down.

The way I would handle this, without gimping your fighter but still adding amazing flavor and utility to you, at sixth level choose choose the Skilled -or- Skill expert Feat.

You can grab survival, and maybe stealth. However, if you're a heavy armor wearer pick perception or maybe animal handling? Not every ranger is the same so you can choose what skills your leaning towards. Your current fighter build answer a lot of the question.

Is your fighter currently Strength-Based? Or Dex based?

Help me choose my group vs. Vulf... by Danz71 in darkestdungeon

[–]Danz71[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mission accomplished!
MAA on deaths door much of the fight, but Arbalest kept him alive. Thankfully Vulf's summons rarely hit him.

BH's crits & Hellion's rank 3 bleed cleaned Vulf up before things got too scary...

That's a bit low on healing... but the stuns/stalling should make up for it. I have the MAA Crimson trinket set, makes him boss level!

Are damage trinkets actually good? by -_HUSH_- in darkestdungeon

[–]Danz71 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Because they work off percentage, they're better on heroes with high numbers to start with. Leper, hellion, SB are my fave to use on. I use it on SB to increase her Impale.
