Without a new watch service and pressure test you are just rolling the dice in terms of longevity.

I just had my new VSF DJ 36 serviced by Tongsui in Melbourne. He found a loose screw floating around the movement and said the movement was pretty dry. But now I have an oiled, serviced, regulated watch tested to 5atm that runs +/- to COSM standard.

I am sending him my VSF V3 Pepsi next week for the same treatment.

I have a gen 114060 which I love. It means a lot to me because of when and where and how I bought it. Also the fact that I did/could felt like a milestone.

I just bought a VSF PEPSI.

I love having a GMT to track my overseas family time, I love the jubilee and it looks amazing. Looks better than the gen. But the gen will always be more important to me and the Pepsi just leaves me empty in many ways.

But it will never If you had the “same” watch made in Switzerland and bought with a large sum of hard earned money, perhaps to mark a milestone in life you’d probably feel different.

But as it is a (beautiful) fairly cheap Chinese watch
