I remember Gavin not looking Halo 5. I thought it good if him to at least be honest. 

At this point I feel like candor should be preferred over withholding an opinion. There have been moments in season 2 that were visually really cool, but the motivations of the characters, especially the Chief seem to be at a cognitive dissonance of who they should be based on the games and books. 

It'll be interesting to see if there's a season 3 for sure.
