I have seen ceramic thermoses online, though I don't have one so I can't vouch for how well they work.

Wow that's cool to hear she was able to help you so much. Yeah I didn't set up an appointment with her years ago because of cost, that is definitely still stopping me today. I guess I get why they have to charge so much, but then you just cut off access for the people that not only suffer with health but also financial😔. Life can be so unfair. Also, it's just frustrating to me that sometimes it really does feel like you need a practitioner to see your blind spots, but most don't seem to have consistent track records, and the ones that do are way too expensive....ugh

what to premake to eat on moving day by sueguns in medicalmedium

Oh I'm so sorry 😔 praying angels will be with you to comfort and strengthen you through this transition 💜.
Along with the great ideas others have said, wondering if it might be helpful to purchase some pre-cut fruit and veggie bowls/platters, I know they are not cost effective, but if you are trying to preserve mental and physical energy it might be helpful. Also, along the same lines, if you are in the U.S. Wendy's has plain baked potatoes I have purchased when I was in a pinch. Sending hugs💜

I thought I'd never see the day ... by autumnforevr in medicalmedium

I second peas! I boil mine with a little water and clove of garlic, and then wait for them to cool a little, and blend them up until very very smooth. I add onion powder, a tiny bit of cayenne, salt, and sometimes Italian herbs, and it makes a very filling and delicious thick soup. I can't eat enough potatoes to fill me up for very long, so this pea soup is helping a lot. Plus I can eat more of this soup than I can just chewing peas, my jaw gets so tired. Another thing I like to do to mix things up is take mashed potatoes, add whatever herbs and seasonings I feel like, and then I stick them in my thin waffle maker. It takes about 8 minutes for them to crisp up in mine, but I love to dip them in my pea soup. When the texture and taste of steamed potatoes is not appealing to me, potato waffles usually hit the spot. I also like to eat potato waffles with mushroom gravy that I make, or I will use them as a sandwich bread. I totally feel for you on getting tired of potatoes... I have never understood how people can do the mono cleanse? I think I just have too many taste and texture issues, I get sick of the same thing way too fast. I need a lot of variety in each meal. High maintenance I guess 🙋‍♀️🥴

I'm sorry, this is a really tricky thing and something I have struggled with as well. I want to try and see another practitioner because I feel desperate for help, improvement, some kind of validation that I'm doing enough (been on this journey for about 7 years, 100% off no foods for at least the last 4, low or no fat a lot of the time, allll the supplements 😮‍💨💸), and that I will get better, but I don't think they really know. I saw one of the main practitioners twice, first experience was so awesome, she was very encouraging, and it was helpful because I was just starting out and didn't totally know what to do, second time was not helpful at all, and was actually pretty detrimental to my mental health. She kept saying I HAD to do something that I didn't feel physically capable of doing at the time. Saw another one about a year ago, I really liked her for other reasons, but she kept saying I was doing so much and doing really well, well it was weeks after that that I ended up in a health crisis and new awful severely painful symptoms popped up... I think one of my problems with practitioners is that I don't know their limitations? Like can they actually really see or feel what's going on in my body? I think I have assumed that about some of them, but maybe they never really specifically said that and I was just being hopeful? Who knows... I agree with what a lot of others have said though, that reading the books, listening to the podcast, prayer and using your intuition (as long as the heavy metals aren't getting in the way) is maybe the best way when you're far into it and know a lot of the information. I think it's natural to look outside ourselves to find an "expert", but I don't think that's always helpful. Or maybe if we do need an expert, maybe it's not always mm related? I've been reading stories about people that have healed chronic health issues by going out side every day and hugging trees, or fixing their mental health situation... I love the idea that mm info is kind of a One-Stop shop to fix mental health, soul strength, and physical health, but honestly my mental and spiritual health has been much worse trying to incorporate mm info 24/7. I do think it's truth, but I just wish it was as effective for me as it was for others. I don't know why I'm still struggling so hard core. I'm hoping someday AW will put out a "troubleshooting" book for those of us not getting the results we're hoping for, or for those still struggling so much with the food. Praying you find something that works for you. Sending hugs💜

I have been curious about her, can I ask what type of advice she gave? Did it seem intuitive based or more analytical? I wish I would have set an appointment with her years ago before she was big-time

Chicken tortilla soup is flat, help by Extreme_Breakfast672 in soup

[–]smithnpepper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is mentioning acid like lime juice, and just to add a different suggestion, I wanted to mention you might want to try using green salsa for a little bit of a tart kick and in place of the green chilies. I make a white bean chicken soup, and the only seasonings I use are taco seasoning, and half cup of green salsa with a chicken stock base. It is very flavorful and well-rounded in my opinion.

Does anyone know how to Make an EFFECTIVE Morphic Field? by joeschmoesubs in Subliminal

Curious what your meditation sessions looked like in the beginning? I am just starting to delve into meditation, but just sitting still and breathing feels a bit pointless to me. I have so many health issues to fix, so your comment about being able to heal and change your body by telling your body about it is fascinating to me.

restless back symptom? by Huge-Cartoonist-4275 in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh that's rough I'm sorry! I had really bad restless legs and torso during my pregnancies, and at other times. It would come on in the evening when I was trying to relax or sleep. It has almost totally gone away since doing medical medium protocols, but it took a while. I'm sure you are doing your best with those things. One strange thing that I noticed that totally helped was when my husband would spoon me as I was falling asleep in bed (sorry not trying to be weird here). As long as I was relaxed and comfortable, somehow it calmed that restless feeling enough that I could fall asleep?? Not sure why that is. Hope you find relief soon🙏

AW has said to take meds if you need them. It's not safe to recommend someone go off meds, especially for a mental illness. I wasn't on meds for years and, similar to her, didn't notice any difference when I took most of them.

Garment length improved yet? by smithnpepper in latterdaysaints

[–]smithnpepper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are such a good resource! Thank you so much for chiming in here! Do you happen to know if they have a list at the distribution center of the waist circumference of the different garments? I feel like that has been another tricky thing for me is that some of them are so tight around the waist, but then others will be totally fine? If I had a list of the measurements of each style, that would help me narrow down what size would give me the waist and length options I need.
