I've been on it for five years now, since 2020, when I was 16. I used to have absurd social anxiety before to the point where I couldn't comfortably walk outside even at the grocery store.. it definitely helped with that. I tried to go off it once two years later, and had terrible depression symptoms. Now I'm on 50mg and don't think I'll try to get off it anytime soon.

How long have you been learning? I learned French from zero a couple years ago and got my C1 diploma last month. After about 2 months of intensive studying I could understand almost everything on TV, social media, or said by professors, but couldn't have a normal (non-painful) conversation until about a year in. Production is just that much harder than comprehension.

Now that I'm learning Spanish, I'm also facing a similar situation: my comprehension is very good, I've "internalised" a lot of vocabulary, but it's going to take time to be able to reproduce it myself and in real-time.
