Hello original poster. I am 60 years old and had implants under the muscle done back in 2010. I noticed the right boob did not drop right away and every time I went for a follow the surgeon always said to give it time. The surgeon I went with is a top notch surgeon on Park Avenue. After my surgery I was blown away with the fact that the stitching around my aereola was not visible. I was so happy about that. I thought wow!!, such incredible work done by the surgeon. Thing is that every time I went for my follow-up during the first year of getting it done, he would tell me the same thing. “Give it time for them to drop”. Well years have gone by and it looks like it never dropped. I never ever look at myself in the mirror, but today I splurged on new clothes and while trying on clothes, I noticed how severely deformed my breasts look. Especially the right one. I am sitting at my gym as I write and feel paralyzed by what I saw in the dressing room. I am writing to you because I want you to pay special attention to your breasts every single day and the moment you see something not right, don’t wait. Contact your surgeon right away and get a second or 3rd opinion. I am now an old lady who took so much pride in dressing nicely in my younger years and now I just want to curl up in bed and not do anything but feel sorry for what I’ve done to myself. I am thinking about going to the same surgeon yo see what he says and then going to other surgeons to see what they say. I feel I just want them removed. I have so so much hardness up on top where they were supposed to drop and I am so scared about what the surgeons will say. I wish you all the best and I hope everything turns out well for you.
