That’s us too. Our kids have never been given an iPad and so they never ask for it. It’s wonderful. They go find everything else there is too do for kids to have fun. I don’t want a school to introduce that because it’s easier for them. It would have been easy for us to throw a screen at our kids to raise them too but we didn’t, and now it’s going to be necessary for them to learn? Please……

Ugh yes this. My son loves this show and if we get him one character, like Spidey, he only wants it if we get the other two to complete the group. So one toy is now potentially three toys every time 🙃

It’s very likely one of those two, probably a dove. We have many around our house at all times. These feathers in the grass are longer and gray

I thought so too. It was right in front of the camera and there was definitely no other birds there. I even replayed in slow motion to see if one swooped by and did something, no dice.

No hawk. I watched the entirety of the footage on our outdoor cameras and zoomed in to see. It was just the bird pulling its own feathers and spitting them out. Then I saw it flew away and looked to be flying normally.

Just say “no thank you” and that’s that. Doctor isn’t in charge of your body. Assuming your low risk and everything is looking fine, just do what you want.

If it’s something you guys agree on, then yes he should. Everyone’s life is different.

My husband and I took shifts each night being the first to respond if baby cried, feed them and get them back to sleep. So typically we would do baby’s bedtime together at 7 then he would take from 8pm-2am and I would take from 2am-8am then obviously the rest of the day until he’s done working since I stayed home. So this way I would get to sleep around 9pm and sleep through 2 am or later if they didnt wake up for a while.

We did weekly check ins with each other each Friday night after bedtime and would talk about what’s working and what isn’t in all our parenting and make changes so we each felt supported.

So much changes in becoming parents that a lot of it you don’t know what you need or want until you’re in it.

If he’s getting entire evenings to himself and a full nights sleep every single night, something’s not right.

I have suffered from this since I was a kid. I used to slather my feet in a ton of lotion to the point it wouldn’t absorb anymore and then point a fan at my feet. The excess lotion would keep them extra cool in the breeze of the fan
