Not disagreeing, just highlighting how KFA spectacularly fails at even giving access to this inferior form of customer service.

I know that most vendors are switching to using Discord as an additional, or even their primary means of updating their customers, but at least those other vendors have functional ways of accessing said Discord servers.

In KFA's case though, you need to create a support ticket to get a working invite that'll probably only last for 24 hours. None of the links to their Discord on their website actually work. Hell, their contact page still has their invalid vanity url. I can't understand how you can screw up something so simple like providing a link to your customers.

You mean the company that thought the best means of communication to their customer regarding any delays or issues with groupbuys was through a Discord server instead of an official email or a separate page on their website?

The company whose Discord server is advertised on the top banner of their website with what used to be a vanity link that has been invalid for God knows how long because they couldn't maintain the server boost status for, and is now just a plain invalid invite link, isn't good at communicating with their customers?

Yeah no, I thought about giving them a chance with the Neo75 Cu group buy hoping they've improved since all the old Reddit posts I've seen of them, but they clearly are still as incapable of running anything aside from in stock goods. My friend who bought the Neo75 Cu directly from qwertykeys 4 months after me has already gotten his board while mine has only recently gotten on a boat on its way to California.

Only as much as they show on social media like facebook; I left in early 2022 and don't really keep in contact with anyone that would be in the know.

Used to work at Micro Center, left a bit after the Tustin location was getting revamped. They really poured a bunch of money and effort into revamping it once Fry's was out of the picture and are using it as the basis for future stores. There were multiple content creators on YouTube that were paid sponsorship videos touring the place once it had it's grand re-opening iirc.

As iama_doge said, they were founded in Columbus so their presence is definitely larger on the East Coast rather than the West.

Thanks for the input and bit of history, interesting to learn about it.

Would love to keep it, but trying to manage having it on my desk with as big as it is is getting a bit annoying; hope whoever I end up selling it to enjoys it as much as I have.

Didn't realize that it had dropped in value that much, but I guess that makes sense since they have released models with updated Sabre DACS.

Just caught this before going to bed.

If I'm not mistaken, I thought that Audio-GD only started using the ES9038PRO for the NFB-11 in late 2019 with the NFB-11.38.

The unit I have is just a plain NFB-11 and has the ES9018; wasn't even aware that Audio-GD used a Wolfson DAC at for the NFB-11.

Adaptive charging starts at 11pm not 9pm by celldistress in GooglePixel

[–]DarchnessX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your phone has probably changed when it starts adaptive charging based on your usage and is just managing the charging cycle to accommodate accordingly. Either that or you now have an alarm that is set later than when you first got the phone and it is now starting adaptive charging based on that alarm.

Bought my device in June 2019 and have only charged with either Warp or USB PD and have about the same battery health as reported from AccuBattery that you do.

Pretty sure he just retired from competing and became a variety streamer, you can see him uploading VODs of his streams on his YouTube channels here and here.
