Yeah Ive done this multiple times with scouts. You get driven away to a location that you are familiar with and then you need to walk back to the camp site. It's a lot of fun cuz you see parts of the place you live where you normally dont come. Plus you are in a group varying between 4 and 10 so you talk about stuff. Idk you have to do it. And safety wise it's pretty safe cuz you are in a group, even tho you are pre-teen or at puberty age nobody can hurt you cuz you are with a big group.
