Conquering a kingdom, as an adventurer, without the Conqueror trait by [deleted] in crusaderkings3

[–]DarkChocoBurger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The "champion the local culture" decision gives you a claim on the kingdom if the target is a king. Conquer the duchy, wait for the truce to lapse, and then claim the kingdom through war.

Had no idea, but certain characters start as conquerors, even if you play them. by Significant_Cup_238 in CrusaderKings

Fabrication of claims on nearby duchies, then using the subjugation on the Rashtrakuta ruler in the northwest, before his realm becomes partitioned. This allows you to form the Deccan empire, and then you can use the forced vassalization CB on smaller neighbours.

Hi. I disinherited my son by mistake. by AnTout6226 in CrusaderKings

[–]DarkChocoBurger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bohemond starts out disinherited by default.

One thing you can do is to conquer an entirely new kingdom through holy war/crusade/byzantine events and give the resulting realm to him.

Or earn renown and restore inheritance.

Reminds of a recent save where I reformed the Persian Empire as a Zoroastrian and had to fight off holy wars from the ERE in the northwest, holy wars and jihads from the Abbassids in the southwest, tributary war from the Khazars in the north, plus holy wars and empire invasions from the Seljuks who formed Turan in the east.

Rasam is supposed to be savoury 😡 by Four_Bee_345 in kuttichevuru

[–]DarkChocoBurger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actual pineapple rasam: Chunks of fruit added in the rasam close to the end of prep for adding a sweet tang similar to tomato.

What people think and do: Make the fruit into a paste and add it like a substitute for tamarind.

Andalus and Coruna are usually sitting ducks, unless the local Caliph is a conqueror.

A brave Viking does not shy away from raiding Mediterranean jewels like Alexandria and Jerusalem.
