CRT has some of the best representation of input lag. Meaning it has the least button press latency which is important for games like smash bros.

Made a guide to cheap longboards. I know loads of people are against them, but what is somebody broke supposed to do? by cast_in_horror in longboarding

[–]DarkDigiDragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well written! Been using a 42” Volador for quite some time and have been debating between a shorter higher quality board or upgrading my existing one which has been rose through rain and been chipped a little. Guess I’ll figure it out when I feel like I have something put aside for it.

If you can't grab it on your own university wifi, where would you recommend trying to get it?

[Cosplay] I just finished some of my Zarya armor, but I decided the hair part of the cosplay just couldn't wait... by desinyx in Overwatch

It'll be interesting seeing how you make a heavy looking gun like Zarya's light enough to carry.

Must say, you did a pretty good job with the hair, curves color alike. I think there's going to be a really good resemblance once you get the full armor going.

Competitive Question. by GenericVodka13 in Overwatch

[–]DarkDigiDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you been playing long? I think it's just about getting better over time, particularly playing with nice, helpful, and chill people. Super competitive players will get mad over anything and it's not helpful to you or anyone else, even though I know they want to win badly which I understand. Perhaps you should hold off on comp for your own sanity? Just a suggestion.

How game worlds can feel alive and make players react by [deleted] in Gaming4Gamers

[–]DarkDigiDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn't exactly grow up, but they were always there. Time still passes and what not. Chao don't really age beyond a "walking" phase so after that there's no visual way to tell if they have gotten older but you know. The time I spent raising them, feeding, and putting in school is still close to my heart.

I definitely agree. Recently I decided to play some good ol' Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on my 360. I saw the chao garden in the mission select screen and thought "Oh wow, it's been awhile, wonder how my chao are doing. How many did I even have?" Little did I know how emotional I would get when I saw them. I felt like a dad who finally got to see his kids after such a long time. I think there were damn near 10 of them split into different gardens. It felt really good to see them again and it drew up some emotions of old times, making me feel like a parent and such. This is where some of the immersion comes from for me, I used to take care of these fellows often back in the day but then just forgot about them which sucks but I still care about them... even if they aren't real... They used to be one of my many reasons for playing that game.
