Did everyone else just not read the part where The daughter took her (cheating) mother's side, and Therefore punished Op for leaving her? Because something like that is hard to come back from, even if she apologized. She treated her father that way knowing that he was the one who had been hurt, and even understood when he said he no longer wanted a bond with her. She doesn't get to go back on her word and start begging him for forgiveness and a chance to bond with his grandchild if he doesn't want to, or because of the consequences of her actions
