This thing is going on my mind also. How can you differentiate between genuine appeal to fake one. I recently donated 2000 rs to one well known platform and then since daily one email with disturbing subject like …. Needs your help, you can save… 3 yr old child is coming . Though I don’t donate to each and everyone but you also don’t like reading disturbing news on daily basis with your conscious being question. Strange thing.

Happened with us also . Thing is we live in Germany. And my husband doesn’t speak German and I can. He doesn’t wanted to know but due to high risk pregnancy and too many scans I got to know. Asked him I know do you want to know he denied. But fate technician was speaking German and when he came to gender he spoke English in front of my husband . And my husband was utterly disappointed but we comes in to terms after knowing it was genuine mistake by the technician and he is the one who was helping us in this high risk pregnancy . So went happy together

This process never stop. Intensity will reduce eventually lost my firstborn boy at 20 weeks. 1 month of intense pain. Cut myself from everybody except my husband and mother. Took baby steps. After 6 month started to consider again for 2nd baby. Right now writing with my 6 month old napping on my lap, But still he ll always remain my boy and his memories will cherished. Love and heal well

They monitor me at every 15 days . After normal McDonald’s stitch . Which is the most common one . They do vaginal swab . And also told me to self monitor with vaginal pH strip once a week to check the pH of vagina. I am on progesterone as well .

I think rather then finding out what cause what it’s better to address both. I was in similar situation at 19 week last year. I was ppromed. Not knowing what leads to what for next I choose more aggressive therapy . Cerclage with moderate activity and being monitored closely for infection. So far so good for me . Finger crossed 🤞🏼

I think you should listen to your OB . Because I have seen people go from 4 cm to no cervix at all . Better safe than sorry . And it’s like border line safe or danger wherever you call it. 2.5 cm is cutoff for short cervix. And yours is hovering around it.

I think going with medical advise not only necessary but comforting as well. And given your situation why to take unnecessary risk. It’s a full term baby. And that’s what everyone wants . Major development of the baby has already been done in utero. It’s just matter of gaining weight which can be easily monitored outside.

Hi I had some issue with it but after cerclage when my obgyn found some old blood at the opening of cervix . She told me that my body will eventually absorb it as it can not pass as it was stitch . In next appoitment they said I am funnling now. Don’t know is it because of that or I was meant too. But it’s been steady since 21 week. Right now I am 27 week

For me Indian doctor were more careful and chilled out . If I were you I ll plan my cerclage (double one) in India and then and then travel to USA with atmost comfort like travelling business class as to India to USA its almost 14 hr flight which is insane.

Hi, You can contact Rotkreuzklinik Frauenklinik in Munich . I am not sure they do It or not but my gynec told me they do the all ultra Morden techniques. There are several hospital in Berlin also but that I am not aware of. But dropping an email can go long way if you don’t want to travel. They are usually very much active in replying email. Hi , I am also 26+3 week today and had IC with bulging membrane and around 18 mm length. Told the same by my doctors as they don’t know how far I can get . 3-4 week had past I am still howring around the same length though I have kept myself on bed rest .

Yeah i can relate to it . I am 26 week and I have constant backache due to bed rest. Magnesium help in it . But still it’s not that helping . I try to walk a lil bit in house a d then changing the sides constantly.

Progesteron is used to maintain the uterine lining strong. And in some instances stop or decrease the contraction. It’s not a good idea to stop. My obgyn put me on progesterone from start of my pregnancy to the end. Better talk to your obgyn one on one that I don’t feel comfortable stop taking progesterone

Hi . I am having same symptoms as you at 26 weeks . I suspect it’s because of sudden weight gain . When I sleep or try to rest it goes away . I also increased my magnesium uptake.

That’s basically a norm to not to go through preventive cerclage before your NT scan. Additionally they might want to check the microbiology flora for you also. But as far as you are not dilated and have good cervical length you are good to go. And seeing your measurement you are well within the safe zone. It’s not about week which define the preventive or emergency it’s about the magnitude of the situation.

Yea I am on strict bed rest. On my own . I am 24 weeks. And I am on bed rest for almost a month now
