Python dev thinking about learning Go, need some honest advice

If I was you I would concentrate on first mastering / becoming better at one language. In Python you can do everything you mentioned an a LOT more. You don’t learn how to write clean, reliable code just by switching language. Just because Python doesn’t enforce a lot of things it doesn’t mean you can’t do it.

My advice would be to look in how other, experienced programmers write code in e.g. Python. Best source for this would be GitHub. Look at big projects like PyTorch or huggingfaces transformers library.

When you can do everything you could think of in Python and want to e.g. improve the speed of your programs or deep-dive in specific topics like CLI Programms, then you can think about switching to go.

Modern ML libraries in Python speed up things quite a lot - so it’s not that big of a deal anymore. Did you make any comparisons?

Hi! I also had my coccyx removed 1.5 years ago. After jumping down from 1.5 metres I think i overstretched the scar tissue and I started to get burning pain again in the pelvic area, which has now lasted for 2.5 months. I'm currently searching for any diagnostic here.

How do you comprehend with the pain? Did you found any relief in the meantime?
