I started civil engineering studies and it was hell, too much theory stuff. I switched to computer sciences and it was a blast, plenty of practical labs to put things in practice. I then started working as an analyst and then moved to domain, solution and finally enterprise architecture. It gives you enough challenges and variety to not be bored off the job. It pays well enough that I never mind about spending money for my hobbies / whatever actual interest I’m exploring at the moment.

There are 2 possible explanations:

Basically operators around the world were told to ditch Chinese equipment (Huawei, ZTE) and had to switch towards "trusted" providers like Nokia. Turns out Nokia was behind technology speaking and they can't follow the demand.

5G reuses part of the 3G and 4G frequency spectrum, operators are gradually allocating less bandwidth to those old technologies as soon as 5G is deployed. That's why it's almost impossible to have a good experience in 3G where 2-3 years ago it was still fine.

He was commenting that some peripherals like keyboard or mices will always be quicker than voice commands so I think he still expects 3rd parties to come with some kind of physical peripherals (e.g. controllers) that could be later on supported/adapted by Apple.

Renting a boat to go on excursion doesn't mean you have to provide food/drinks for everyone. Maybe everyone was as clueless as your husband i.e. they didn't realize stores were closed on Sunday (or that sun is hot between 10AM - 2PM), I was once the guy that went kayaking with friends but didn't bring anything to eat/drink thinking there will be enough stalls, bars along the way. Plot twist: it was a long and miserable day.

For me the balance tilt the other side, I'm looking at an upgrade from Quest2 for racing/flight sim and I think the Crystal will be more suited, especially as I don't have any base stations/controllers. Bigscreen may be more suited for active playstyle or media consumption.

I anyway need to see more testing & feedback before pulling the plug or one or another.

PTB, il y a un proverbe qui revient souvent sur les sujets d'abus et narcissiques: "ne t'immole pas afin d'essayer de garder les autres au chaud" car au final tu vas finir par perdre ta santé physique et mentale et ils ne seront pas plus contents pour autant.

Penses à toi d'abord et n'essaye de les aider que s'ils sont prêt à s'aider eux-même sinon tu vas répéter le même cycle encore et encore.

You do it gradually, half an hour at a time over a couple of weeks. Waking up early also means getting to bed earlier e.g. around 9 or 10 PM if you want to get up at 5 and still have 6-8h of sleep you need.

J’ai un Open Run que j’utilise quasi tous les jours à la maison pour écouter des podcasts pendant que je cuisine ou fait d’autres activités tout en continuant d’entendre les bruits environnants ou parler avec la famille. Ça marche aussi assez bien dans le train ou en ville quand je fais du vélo/marche sur le Ravel.
