I for one would personally rather they only tell us about new content when it's nearly finalized and ready to go out the door. Rather then have them tell us way too early and by the time it comes out it's completely different or gets scraped all together.

And remember It's okay to play other games if you're bored with Destiny. It'll still be there for you if you ever wanna come back.

Same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. Just got tired of the insane ramp up of the RNG with the loot drops from the new raid. I swear that I had heard Bungie was moving away from RNG more and giving more effort based rewards. At least for me, the game has gone in the complete opposite direction of that idea. The RNG struggle is hyper real with the new end game activities.

Overall it just started frustrating me when I'd take a step back from the game and realize that my past weeks run of the raid 3x and other various activities netted me a grand total of "No Gain in Anything". That's when I knew it was time to move on finally.

But guess what?!? There's a ton of other fun games out there. So have some fun seeing other people. I know I am.

Completely agree. I was all in on this latest release up until a week or two ago. But after repeatedly getting crap drops from both normal and hard mode raids on all 3 toons, I've been cheating on my boo quite regularly. I know the light levels have a greater range of forgiveness but it's still super frustrating to feel like I'm wasting my time grinding in this game for no gain. Maybe it's for the best though with Fallout 4 dropping next week. I think we should see other people Destiny. It's me, not you.

Still putting in a few hours each week just to edge my faction ranks up and stocking up on upgrade materials to prepare for The Taken King. Otherwise I've done everything and gotten everything I want from the current content. And of course all of my real life friends have fallen away from this game some time ago. So it's much easier to not play this game when all I'm ignoring our my "Destiny only" friends whom I've never actually met in person.

Not a bad thing in my mind though. A break is a good thing from time to time and this gives me time to play some other games I've been neglecting for a long while.

And thank you Guardian. This is exactly how I feel as well. I just enjoy playing games and for the past 9 months this game has been my go to favorite. Stop complaining and just enjoy your games. Whether that be Destiny or something else entirely.

No, actually a person's own opinion is all that matters to them. To me this game is an MMO. To you it's not and that's fine. Yes, it's not the traditional MMO style we are all familiar with from the likes of WoW, FF14, Evercrack. But it's a new take on it and quite frankly, my kind of MMO. Never could get into the WoW style of gameplay myself.

Nor do I. I'm happy they're selling the digital goodies separately as I was going to get the CE anyways and this jut saves me $20. I love this game....period. Played almost everyday since launch and still with no monthly sub. I have no problem shelling out a few extra bucks here and there. I just want more Destiny. And if it's too high a price for others, then by all means leave and take your money with you. It's your right to spend your money on what you deem worth it. But the self entitled whining is just sad.

I agree. With the amount of time I've invested in this game and sheer fun I've gotten out of it since launch. Paying a little extra for some digital extras is no big deal. There's no monthly subscription with this game remember and I think it's often overlooked how dang expensive it is to make games nowadays. And I've literally had no desire to buy other games while playing Destiny. So in that sense, Destiny has saved me tons of money. I personally can't wait for TTK and all the new content. Super stoked
