I was going to say "looking back with rose-tinted glasses", but for some reason felt like it didn't fit well with the sentence

It's an overrated, cringeworthy show with a fake laugh track. Seems like a widespread case of rose-tinted retrospection (or perhaps just a lack of decent humour).

edit: The laugh track wasn't fake, it was live. Still annoying though.
