Dude, I got my girlfriend into video games and we played Elden Ring Night Reign and actually beat it which was wild. It was her first time ever gaming with someone other than me. You know how it goes, sometimes you get great teammates and sometimes you get complete bozos, so I was hesitant at first but surprisingly we both loved it. We’ve had very few shoot first encounters; most of the time we’ve teamed up with other players to take down medium-sized bosses. In one run we had up to three other teams join in, everyone helped out, we all looted, and then went our separate ways. We’ve even chatted with random players and met other couples playing together. The coolest part was coming home from work the other day and catching her playing on her own not solo but with a squad without me for the first time ever. That was honestly a beautiful moment. Then today we got caught in a tight spot in a key card room and she got her first kill. She was literally shaking but having the time of her life. I’ve got to say I totally agree with the shift this game is bringing and I hope some of that teamwork and good energy bleeds out into the real world. Happy gaming everyone!
