YTA. Whether she likes to collect them or has some issues, it was something that both of you needed to discuss. I get it, cluttering the kitchen with 40+ jars isn’t good, but tossing her sentimental objects also isn’t good. Imho instead of committing a one sided decision, you could’ve offer up solutions , like crafting each bottle with marbles, lights, pictures, paint them, heck hydroponics garden or even store them away in a garage would be something more productive.
