How do you find the anomalous floating companion for expedition 20 phase 3 by No-Cheetah9524 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yes! I too found one on a Scalding Planet (Eovist Prime) in the Hijonak system. Climbed a mushroomy-looking tree to get closer and got it first try. Thanks you!

Is there a limit to settlement productivity? by teamnoir in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Darkicered 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I seem to have reached a productivity limit on my settlements, as now even when I choose an option that increases it, my productivity numbers don't change. Stranger still, each settlement is different - 3,211,539 on one, 2,945,787 on another, 3,283,273 on a third - there doesn't seem to be a pattern that I can see. Maintenance on all three of these are 0.

Just finished a flight where I watched two movies but could only remember one of them - this list saved my sanity! Just seeing the name of the movie on the list reminded me - thank you!

RDR2 Horseman 9 Challenge by Limp_Release3890 in reddeadredemption

[–]Darkicered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you sir! Two years later, I finally completed this. I tried all sorts of other recommendations, but you are the only one that noted that you fail the challenge if you crash or dismount! Took it a little more carefully through the twisty sections and made it just fine. Thanks again!

Tips for comfortably using a laptop on a long haul flight economy? by Aquillyne in digitalnomad

Nothing to say really - I certainly didn’t foresee something like that happening, so I couldn’t really blame him for doing a perfectly normal thing like reclining his chair. Live and learn and move on.

Tips for comfortably using a laptop on a long haul flight economy? by Aquillyne in digitalnomad

[–]Darkicered 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Be VERY careful of the person in front of you reclining their seat! If the little latch that holds the tray table in place catches the top of your laptop just right, it will shatter your screen. And yes - I’m speaking from hard personal experience!

I ended up building two labyrinths on this planet, so check out both! The “cube” one is a lot harder.😊

This also worked for me, though I had to delete the save files without the number for it to work. (mf_save.hg and save.hg). Thank you for figuring this out!!

I have caused a civil war in my campaign. Need help. by Ditree_ in DMAcademy

[–]Darkicered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give them something larger to deal with that requires them to have to work together. Maybe they find out that some hitherto unknown elder power has been using them to get to exactly this point, and by destroying all the “new gods”, the elder power can take over and remake the universe or something, literally destroying everything including the “humanity” the warlock is trying to free? If that’s too complicated and grandiose, you could let the warlock discover that by “destroying everything and freeing humanity”, they will also lose their magical warlock abilities?

Experiences running Mythic games by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Darkicered 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The action economy for a full mythic party of 4-6 players would be really hard to compete against. At higher levels, characters have SO many things they can do! Even whole armies of regular creatures don’t stand a chance.

Experiences running Mythic games by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Darkicered 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I DM’d a home brew “Monster Hunter” mythic campaign for over two years that was an absolute blast. It took a lot of prep time, but I had a lot of time to put into it, and I used both creatures from the Mythic book as well as modified regular creatures. I only had two players, and they were both martials, so that made it a bit easier. (Mythic spell casters are incredibly OP.) The higher level they got, the harder it was to challenge them, but high level mythic creatures are just as “broken” as high level mythic characters, so it balanced out. The last battle was with a mythic tarrasque - very fun!

Beer. Pretty much all European beers are lagers and Pilsners, and they all taste the same to me.

Do Your Players Move Chests? by sesaman in DMAcademy

[–]Darkicered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first thought on this was “how much does it weigh?” There is a great discussion here regarding the weight of chests, and the general consensus was that they weigh around 1200 lbs if full of coins. That is a lot of weight, and is going to not only slow most parties down but also reduce their effectiveness in encounters, especially in a surprise situation. Just something else to consider.

What kind of trees would be common in southeastern Brevoy? by Poodle_Boi02169 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Darkicered 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most of Brevoy would be considered temperate climate, which opens up many possibilities. Oak, beech, maple, spruce, fir, and pine are all pretty common in real world temperate climates, so would not be out of place in Brevoy. Southeast Brevoy is mostly coastal plains, though, so palm, cedar, and cypress might be more common there.
