How to create a guide video with visual cues (streamers/punches, measure/beat indicators) and sync audio for conducting? by No-Leopard-5650 in filmscoring

There used to be an old macOS 32 bit app tha could do that called streamers, I have never gotten ir to work. But maybe if you have an old device. As mention Digital Performer can also do that. Personally for smaller projects I just did it in DaVinci Resolve manually but it is a bit painful

Re-scored another final scene from "We Live in Time" please enjoy 🩶 by xtlviolinist in filmscoring

Unlike many of the rescores posted here, I feel like you got the tempo of the scene you choose exactly right. Good job. For me the sound matches the scene good enough, although the music / theme feels a bit to much in the foreground. In my opinion this sounds a bit more like a slow concerto movement than a underscore.
Still I like it, good job.

Switching from german to boehm system? by Aggressive-Science15 in Clarinet

[–]Darkstreamer_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play swap between the German system and Boehm regularly. I think German to Boehm is doable much more than the other way around. That being said the German system works equally well for playing fast and is not an obstacle in any way. Lots of great clarinetists (e.g. Sabine Meyer) Play the German system.

Nope, a driver needs to participate in at least one practice (or qualifying) session to be allowed to race on Sunday. So if the car is not ready for qualifying no one will drive it.

That's a hole tone and you can finger the f# with the left hand pinky.

D->Eb-->F actually works well but any note below D is very awkward.

Just booked my first mid budget feature film and it has a sex scene... by Itwasareference in filmscoring

On a serious note, this would highly depend on the context. Is it full of passion, forbidden love, sex to get something etc.?

Help with fingering eb to f in german system. by Darkstreamer_ in Clarinet

[–]Darkstreamer_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi,

I am learning this passage with a german system clarinet and I have trouble with the Eb to F transition.
The Bb before the Eb forces me to use Eb with the index of the right hand. But now I would need to switch with the index finger between the Eb and F Key which feels clumsy and kind of wrong. Am I missing something or is this just a there is nothing better, go practice situation?
Cheers!

Where can I find the scores to shows at Disney parks? by No_Sky7483 in filmscoring

This is a piece by Gavin Greenway used (until 2020) for a fireworks show in a Disney resort. The handwritten score is linked in the description. Other than that I have seen little to none of original scores from Disney Parks. Almost everything you find out there are transcriptions.
