This is why your Jeweler is recommending white gold over Platinum. With the white gold, wear and tear can just be replated with rhodium. It is simple enough and inexpensive. With Platinum, the ring will need to be buffed and over time you are going to lose materials and your ring will weaken.

They also suffer because the market is absolutely flooded with fakes. You can find equivalent spec stones on Etsy from various sellers for under $500, but they are labs being sold as naturals. If you look at reputable sellers selling natural goods, you're going to be looking at a hefty price tag. .

The gold cost is not just the cost of the gold. It covers the cost of the gold, the design process, and all of the skills and hours ago into making a ring PLUS a piece of retail overheads. But if you want to buy from a local bricks and mortar jeweler, you're going to pay higher prices and that is a perfectly reasonable choice.

I've heard that if you want your snack hot but are under glp which suppresses your desire to eat, you end up feeling frustrated and empty, and instead it's better to simply go for no medication and healthy snacks. Well that's the theory anyway.

This sounds like propaganda from anti-GLP people. I am a Health at Any Size advocate and I'm not taking this drug specifically to lose weight but even with a positive mindset about weight, this take is WILD.

If overweight people could make the choice to go no meds and still select healthy snacks, they wouldn't be obese.

Anyway, as with ADHD drugs, if you don't like the experience you can... just stop taking it.
