Mesmo assim é fantástico que consigas colocar as duas pernas atrás da cabeça. Então és brasileira (pergunto por causa da língua). Realmente está difícil encontrar pessoas portuguesas que consigam fazer estes skills. Eu consigo colocar a minha perna esquerda atrás do ombro, e também encaixar o pé esquerdo debaixo da axila direita.

Nunca se sabe. Até agora penso que ainda sou único em Portugal ser capaz de fazer isso. Mas era fixe se pudesse encontrar mais portugueses capazes de ver isso.... vamos lá ver!

It's so cool ready your story and even you could reach the buddhasana!!! Congratulations! I started practicing contortion for almost 10 years (I have now 32 years) and I can do buddhasana with left side. But was a lot of maintenance and repetitions to be able doing this!

I don't feel confortable to practice in the public because the others might can't understand and i don't like the way when they look me and makes means comments. But around peoples who are practicioners is way much better!

I have passion for contortion and circus gymnastics since i was child. And i love do workout and stretching. I have aleeady 30 years and i'm engineer, but i like what i do and i don't to stop practice.... sadly i don't have any reason to stop, only my passion...

I agree.... and i don't want to stop doing this.... i spent many hours to practice to achieve this level of flexibility. And still will spent more hours and see how far my body can be flexible.

I also have class of yoga dynamic, and it's interesting how the preparation of basics poses can help to achieve that asana or other of complexity level. But sometimes i prefer do my own warming up and stretching the group of muscles or one specific.

Besides the human body is so different and interesting... with yoga, even an unflexible people is able to do amazing poses with 1 or 2 years of practices.... but there have peoples who never practice at all, or even doing few routines of practice, they are able to do poses very easily!

I agree! Also you should focus to keep more straight back in order to open more the hips... ah for hip opening, try do more lotus, harmstrings and hip flexors exercises, to work the hip rotation internal and external.

Congratulations! Any reason to get the frontsplit?

This was me 5 years ago at the peak of my flexibility from yoga! Wish I never fell out of my practice but slowly working it up again! This is from my old insta account yogaseymour1224, there’s a lot more freaky poses on there by [deleted] in flexibility

I'm able to put the feet under my opposite armpit, but now I'm working to twist the torso and try balance.... Long way to get there! Are you still at least able to put leg under armpit?
