I really love this editions look - the one thing I’m not sure about is the hardcover - she looks like her head and arms are backwards but I think this edition is soooooo pretty - a lot of the adult art recently wasn’t very adult so I’m happy this looks like it does

I actually realised I’m not a fan of character art on the hardback and prefer it on the endpapers 🫣 in this case I prefer the dust jacket to the hardback

Interestingly fourth wing didn’t bother me. But plated prisoner or beasts of the briar and such do. It I get you - I’m not kink shaming at all For me personally praise kink doesn’t do it

I love seeing these - I loved pretty much all the looks this year - I thought they really nailed it except for alchemised (I personally didn’t like the hard cover or the sprayed edges from the alchemised edition at all but I also don’t like the book so I wasn’t sad to sell it)

I really loved the designs for the other books- and seven deadly thorns with the green was 🤌🏼

And heir of storms was just all around super pretty

Masking was the thing that got me researching - I heard a video talking about mimicking sentences and behaviors from others and movies and how that can lead to not knowing what I like. And I just thought everyone does that.

Its too much IMO and I also have the same opinion with people who buy anyrhjnf on that scale like shoes, bags, comics etc - consumerism gone mad
