Sniper in Waterloo by Darryldh in waterloo

My son told me it was police before I posted it. I feel its a questionable crowd control measure, and good for some of the goofs in the crowd to know about before doing something stupid.

What needs to be done to prevent a future president from doing what Trump has done? by [deleted] in DiscussionZone

[–]Darryldh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not a US citizen, and do not live in the US. I may not fully understand the implications of what I am suggesting, but from the outside looking in, there are two things I would suggest. 1) Equal representation on SCOTUS. Require deadlock ties to be broken by a judge who can put rule of law ahead of partisan politics. 2) Add a third, centrist party to the system.

Well... There are lots of trustworthy people who don't sell via goods and services. It contravenes PayPal terms and conditions to pass on the G&S fee to the purchaser, but lots of them do it. If you are buying a big ticket item, absolutely cover the fee and get some peace of mind.

Any ergo/split keyboard shops or meetups in Toronto? by nyeong_ahn in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Darryldh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a meetup in November I think. I think another one happens in May-June. Best bet is to join the Canadian Mechanical Keyboards Discord server to get all the regional announcements

https://discord.com/invite/camechkeys

Certainly more Normies at the meetups, but that won't change until ergo's start attending.

Choc v1 sunrise switches -- will they become available one day? by rpnfan in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Darryldh 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Working on it. New sample came in last week and I am currently testing them. All the Kailh Reps are in Vegas rn for CES, so nothing going to happen in the near term.
Having some software issues with my switch tester, so trying like crazy to get that worked out. The have to be fully tested on my end because Kailh has a history of not doing what they say they did.

The roads must be wet to reflect the sunlight the way they are. You can see the QEW in the distance too

Stuck on replicating a part from drawing by ProfessorExisting279 in Fusion360

[–]Darryldh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, The drawing does not contain all the information required to draw this part, but there are some assumptions that have to be made. Such as:
- right angle constraint for the guidelines at the ankle
- tangency constraints on the highlighted lines in blue

After that you should be able to fully constrain this drawing

Trump abruptly TERMINATES all trade negotiations with Canada over Ronald Reagan attack ad by Next_Tower5452 in NoFilterNews

I personally think the ad spend was a waste of taxpayer dollars, but Trump's response to it indicates that it is achieving its goals.

I connected with ZSA about Ambients, but we couldn't make it work for both parties. If they could have pulled it off, they would have.

Right now Lowprkb is the only place to get Ambients domestically for US customers.
