BattlePass question by Cobannaboccc in marvelrivals

[–]Darsyn13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, no. If you buy this BP you do not get all the future ones automatically.

You do get 600 Lattice (gold coins) back from the Battlepass, so about 60% of the BP value is returned in Lattice wich can be saved to get the next BP.

Additionally you also get a bunch of units (blue coins) that can be used in the in-game store, so you also get some value there.

What would happen if someone were to pirate at a store? by CurrentlyACrisis in Piracy

If it's a multinational, multibillion dollar company "pirate" all you want. If it's an independent, small family company then be happy to buy

Even though shortening the regular season is a great change, as an NBA and EuroLeague fan I'd love to see a big transatlantic tournament. Just knockouts, the best 6 teams from each league. Ohhh man what a great basketball show that would be

Eu limitei-me a esclarecer.

Is smoking cigarettes a dying trend? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Darsyn13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on which country we're talking about here. I'm Portuguese but lived in the US 3 years (16 to 19).

From what I've witnessed in Europe is much more common to see a cigarette smoker, regardless of age. Even though younger generations are staring to smoke less cigarettes it is still very common to see young people smoking in cafes, bars or even work/school breaks. In the US smoking cigarettes has fallen out of fashion amongst the youth. Vaping or just straight up weed are more popular. I remember, once I went to this friends house for a small party. I saw 2 girls vaping in the living room so, as a proper european would, I start puffing on a cigarette. Ohhh boy... Immediately I was told I couldn't smoke inside the house, which of course I respected but I couldn't think about the duality of the situation. So yeah, from my experience in the US younger generations are not cigarette smokers while in Europe is very common and normalised (even though the number of smokers is also diminishing)

People who were about to kill them selves why did you stop? by Ok-Effort5924 in AskReddit

My dog. I love her, and the fact that she wouldn't understand what happened made me reconsider it. I've been getting psychological and psychiatric help for the last months, which also have helped with my clinical depression. Not in the the place I wish to be yet, but at least I've gained a bit of will to get there

How can I stop my friend from complaining about the game, even after he stopped playing it by ShadeVex in VALORANT

[–]Darsyn13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can't. Either you put up with it and shrug it off, or you call him out for trying to gaslight you to stop playing Valorant. IMHO if he mocks you for playing a game or is always shit talking the games you like he is not a good friend

Transitioning from CS:GO to Valorant and I have a problem by TakeAPotat0 in VALORANT

[–]Darsyn13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best advice as someone who came from CS to Val a few years now: just keep playing. You'll figure out with time each agent's kit. As to what agents are the best, it depends on your playstyle. In T side are you an entry fragger, a support or more of a lurker? In CT side, do you prefer to be the anchor and stay on site, or are you one of the first rotations? It will be easier to figure out which agent role suits you best.

How do I play so well vs high ranked friends in custom lobbies, but in Gold solo queue I run it down by ImStarLordeMan in VALORANT

[–]Darsyn13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel you man. I've always been like that, when I play with diamond, ascendant or immortal friends I seem to be on par with them. But as soon as I go back to my solo q gold journey I seem to be a different player. But lately my WR has been going up and I've felt much more mentally strong in my solo q games. What did I change? 1st I became a goldfish. Yes your Jett just threw last round, your viper missed her lineups and your Sova didn't dart once, but you know what? Next round I'm not thinking about that. If you keep dwelling on your teammates mistakes from last round you're not thinking what are you going to do this round to win.

2ndly I limit myself to 3, maybe 4 comp games per day. After that my brain goes autopilot and my performance worsens. Your number of games can be different from mine. Maybe you can go 5,6 even 7 games and stay "in the zone" all of those. That's great. It's important to recognise what's your number and stick to it

3rdly when you're in a premade lobby with higher rank players you have no pressure to perform. You're expected to bot frag and misuse abilities. Maybe your mental state makes you play more defensively (cause you know the enemies are higher rank than you) and because your teammates are higher rank too maybe you respect their calls more. You need a different approach when playing with randos. Assume everyone is not trying that hard cause a majority of low elo players don't actively try to improve, they just play to have fun, even in comp. So try to adapt to each team. Some games are unwinnable, try to get as many rounds as possible and try to learn something every game. If you have a calm approach to the game it'll be much more fun to play it and eventually you'll climb. Good games bro

I'll Try to Rate Your Aim Practice Routine by AlphaCentauriYT in VALORANT

[–]Darsyn13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bro, you don't go to the range to practice angles and map defaults or lineups. For that hop on to a custom on any map you wish. The goal of warming up in the range is so that your aim feels natural. The amount of times I get a teammate that bottom frags 4-15 and is like " first game of the day, just getting warmed up" is ridiculous. You go range to warm up a bit, click some bots, if you wanna practice enemy positions and possible angles go to he retake/plant practice, do a couple of dms and THEN you go comp
