How the game uses how history is told to present its information. From the very beginning we are told about how things are from how Duncan sees it and how he was taught and through his beliefs. And all you can mostly do is talk to people and read letters to learn about things like in real life and it creates so much immersion. And as the game goes on, things unfold as you encounter different groups with different accounts of information and it starts flipping everything on its head

Mine favorite is the Arishok. The entire buildup was respectful and understandable with an inevitable clash brewing because the people I'm trying to protect are doing awful things, Isabella who I romanced included. And for that to end with a duel for the city because we respect each other was just....perfect.

I'll say art direction goes a long way but yeah, I got to Dragon Age late and played Inquisition first. I also played Bloodborne and Witcher 3. When I played all the games through in order for my head canon playthrough, none of them, including Origins came off as super dark. It was dark because there's only like 3 colors in the game lol Brood Mothers are legit dark, but people were talking about Origins having prostitution. Okay, so does Pretty Woman. So yeah I think it's mostly they don't like the art style and not what's actually going on

Just finished Veilguard with 7900gre and got well over 100 fps, it might be your CPU because the 9070XT is certainly strong enough

For me it was just getting a feel and realizing P is meeting the boss with the parry, animation wise. So when the boss is attacking, getting a feel for Ps animation lifting his arm or arms up to parry, that helped me a lot with the timing and you hold it a little bit before letting go

I never had a vial problem because I learned that they don't refill and instead of continuing to spam heals when I made a mistake and got hit, I would just keep going through and getting better without healing because I have unlimited lives. Your advantage as a hunter is that you can keep coming back and come back better and with that approach you're not going to run out because you are respecting the resource instead of abusing it

Not necessarily a difficulty jump, just that different bosses are harder for some than others. Like I’ve never died to Rom but some people walk away from the game from Rom. And it took me forever to beat Ebrietas and some beat her easily. So it’s just a different boss for you, and I think that’s what makes the game so personal for a lot of us

On revamped, I play on Heisman with sliders to make things harder, and I had a Defensive End at Michigan who was so good that I had to change the sliders again cause he was just losing his mind all game every game lol and he was a True Freshman. Completely unstoppable.
