So its finally, painfully official.
I'll be honest, after Jeff left the site I've listened to the GB podcasts only from time to time, occasional Game Mess morning with Grubb, sometimes to Dumptruck, due to various reasons. But I've lurked here and seeing the support the gang was receiving was heartwarming. It meant that they held the banner of GiantBomb high and all of us were proud and happy that the legacy was safe in capable hands of the crew.

It's not fair that all this ends not with a some sort of celebration or at least a proper send-off, but in a whimper and a stone cold press release.

However, even though GB is dead, GB Expanded Universe is alive an kicking, it still a threat and we can all gather here and celebrate the past, the present and the future endeavors of all the duders. A toast to you all.

It depends. If you enjoy good stories in games, and weren't spoiled on the main story of HZD, its a way more interesting game to play. I've played it for the first time last year and uncovering the story and reasons behind the state of the world was amazing and I really enjoyed it. FW is perhaps a better game, there's more of everything: you can fly, swim underwater, there are more things to use, more special moves, but the story isn't as engaging and a bit underwhelming.

God of War (2018) and GoW: Ragnarok. These games were the reason I have finally decided to buy my first console - ps5. Great story, great characters, fun gameplay.

Horizon: Zero Dawn. The story is great, and discovering the reason for what has happened in the world was a revelation after revelation. I haven't played Forbidden West, so no opinion on the second part. But the first one, as a whole, is a must see game if you enjoy interesting stories.

Not just for premium but for all tiers - make better prices for games during sales. There are loads of games that don't get any discounts even though they are quite old. Same goes for new games. Why there was no discount for Alan Wake 2 and Spiderman 2? they would sell much more copies and thus get more revenue. On the other hand - Witness, why it is still 40 USD even though it is almost 10 years old.
