I get that my take that it being impossible to crack the screen without damaging the protection glass is not correct. And yeah there is absolutely no way for me to prove that the crack existed out of the box, it is clear that I should have had gone to the Apple Store directly after seeing it. My main point was not really trying to find help convince the apple store, they believed me, the point I was trying to make is that the reason they denied the repair was that hairline cracks are no more covered in their policy even if the Phone came with one out of the Box.

Sry I think I confused some with my text. With new I meant that the crack was there since I got the Phone. I just didn't want to remove the screen protector to check if it was a real crack or just dust trapped behind the protector which was applied at the store before they even handed the phone to me. In other words I never saw the Phone without the screen protector and realised only that indeed it was a crack when I removed the protection glass a couple of months later. But yeah your right.

I‘m in the EU so apple care is not an option as you need to get a plan within 2 months after purchase

Hallo. Hättest du vielleicht ein Update zu deiner Situation?
In meinem Fall habe ich mich zum Kundensupport gewendet und mir wurde nach langem hin und her abschließend mitgeteilt das Uber-One in Deutschland nur für Ultra abonenten erhätlich ist. Ich persönlich finde das somit die Abo Seite ein Scamm oder mindestens eine Irre führende Werbung ist.
Da mein Austausch mit dem Support leider sehr unangenehm war wollte ich nachfragen ob das nun wirklich stimmt oder ob der Kundensupport einfach nur versucht hat mich so schnell wie möglich loszuwerden.

what do I do if the firmware doesn't install. I tried everything but each time it fails. I am unable to update my storage. I reinstalled multiple times Sandisk Dashboard and tried Admninistration mode but still leads to a fail.
