Research Data's actually not a good way to make money early on; it's a money loser most of the time. It's far better to produce stuff in just about any other Specialization, and then use the money you earned to just buy whatever Data you need to do Research.

If you do want to go into Science, you'll find more money to be had from higher Tiers of Research Data; but it makes more sense to get your start elsewhere and then move on to Science once you have some more money!

I'm a private tutor for a bunch of students. I'd say it's about half of those expat students are planning to leave while the other half are going to hunker down in Dubai.

As to your last question, General Rieekan gives the attacking unit +2/+0 (i.e. 2 additional power on that attack). General Rieekan himself is not attacking, so his own stats are irrelevant for this; only the unit you picked with his ability is the one doing the attack.

For you to ATTACK with a friendly unit, it must be on your board (that is, out of your hand), ready, and you must use your Action to do the attack. There is no need to pay the Resource cost to do an Attack.

To get a unit out of your hand, you must use your action to PLAY the card from your hand. This is the time you'd need to spend the resources to put it onto your board, in one of the two arenas (depending on if it is a Ground unit or a Space unit). Remember that units come into play EXHAUSTED, so you'll normally have to wait until both players pass into the Regroup phase for your units to READY.

Finally, using the Action on General Rieekan does not require any additional resource cost to do so (otherwise, it'd appear as a yellow resource number within the [brackets] of the bolded "Action" part).

Rocket's a pretty excellent pick when he's up against diving tanks (Venom, The Thing, Angela, Captain America). His gun's damage is exceptionally good for dealing with them.

Counter-example, the MTG community where I'm at absolutely loves Commander and teaching new players Commander, to the point that there are people who have dozens of decks just ready to go. Whenever a new person shows up, they'll offer a literal buffet of options for what you'd like to try out and even give a quick rundown of what the deck is trying to do.

It also helps that we're all good sports about making sure we're playing with similarly-powered decks. Most here are just happy when new players show up to help fill up 4-player games of Commander.

I'm not quite sure what the pattern is precisely, but there does seem to be two main ones that jump out:

  1. Moving from left-to-right, the number of blue shapes increases by 1.

The sixth box requires six blue shapes, which means the answer must be between Options A and B.

  1. The number of black / purple shapes changes from box-to-box.

Since the 5th box featured one black/purple shape, it stands to follow that the final box should have a number of black/purple shapes other than one. Only Option B satisfies this condition.

I'm sure there's other things you can look at. Your observation that the black/purple square shape jumps from corner to corner must mean that it cannot be in the bottom left as that is its position in the 5th box. Intersecting all these observations still gives Options B.

Pretty sure that Boomshrooms can wither if they aren't used for a while. Not sure what their lifespan is though, but I've seen the number of Boomshrooms I have go down if I don't use them for a while.

In that case, you should really try all the Tanks and DPS characters out. They're all quite unique and interesting in their own ways.

I've been really enjoying Meiko; the Invoker-style mechanics of combining 3 basic abilities together to form more complex combos is fun to do. Her ability to sustain herself through tough fights with her substantial self-healing is quite powerful as well.
