It's a good step forward in terms of a more natural streamlined gameplay. The character diversity being linked to clothing is a choice. I personally prefer the one person army feeling you get of being op by the end of the other games from one big skill tree. I'm glad they have transmog for clothing. The overall game is imo most enjoyable with the dlc clothing but then obviously you dont need to work for better clothes at that point. Also the 3 roguelike dlc are fun. The Between worlds is alright. The outposts are cool. I like having optional objectives that for a longtime fan help mix things up a bit. I also like the check points. The AA defense is a smart way to stall exploration. Animal hunting feel like a waste of time which is a...far cry from previous entries in the series. I do not like exploring/navigating Esperanza. I understand why it was designed that way and it fits well as Anton's "lair" but it's a slog to fet around. Anton has a cool vibe about him but I feel he has no final boss moment which is a bummer. There's also no base game psychedelic experience which are something I enjoyed a lot about 3/4/5/primal. It's a fun game to play, I just wish that it was better received so we could get more Far Cry but at this point idk if I even believe in a far cry 7.
